The problem is with most of our ladies, you will hardly have a problem with a male driver, but females, hmm, I think bolt driver's in Lagos are enjoying compared to Benin here, they will book a ride to one erosion ridden area, when they first call you, like the other brother said, "oga where you dey na" "how long e go take make you reach here" "thus your motor AC no dey reach me here oh" " oga drive fast I don late oh" and a whole lot of other shit. Nigeria is not a place to be at all, I'm sure they don't give this negative reaction to Uber drivers outside country.

Just because you can afford an Uber ride doesn’t mean you can afford the driver. If you consider yourself too highly and have respect for yourself, it would be better to utilize alternative means of transportation

No be you buy car for me....just because of ur 1000naira trip you go dey form boss on top my 2.6m Toyota corolla. She's even Comparing Nigeria with advanced countries where everything is working..... Drivers that has Pot-holes, Lastma ,police, local govt thugs etc to contend with.....plus end of the day poor fare charges that only favours the riders.... .airport to lekki 10,000(taxi)...3,500naira(uber/bolt)

Very wrong woman with an attitude problem.

First, she was trying to get away from people trying to greet her. Then she wanted the driver to do a merry go round across Lagos just for her own convenience and she has the audacity to mention Uber works in other countries. Berating a man because he is a cab driver is as bad as it can get, and coming from someone who is penny-pinching it is really bad. If she were to put herself in the man's shoes would she be happy with the whole scenario?

There is dignity in labour. No matter what happened the driver was not with you on your flight and you are the one transferring emotional aggression from your long flight to the driver. Respect is reciprocal, if you were courteous when speaking to the driver, he would have responded the same. Being a celebrity puts the burden of behaving responsibly on you, not favouritism anywhere you go because people know you.

The driver was wrong to have responded to her, but often if we all learn to be civil and to steer conversations away from exploding into a war of words, then we will have less conflict to deal with.

Let the truth be told... The way & manner some passengers subjected this drivers to ridicule is very bad meanwhile most of them have good jobs and well educated but this is Lagos where no one would want to rely on a one source of income... most of them are the owners of those cars. Respect is reciprocal.
