Topmaike007: True, this companies like you mentioned are product based, this company itself is founded on data and different algorithms, so they have vast amount of data about users who use there product, it’s embedded in there terms and conditions, consumer rights and protection and most times cookies. But in contrast to Huawei, this is a physical product(phone)you carry about, and the products I mentioned above is either pre installed or installed on the phone, so the data you share on the mentioned platforms is possibly intercepted by the phone maker, think of this, your emails, contacts, bank information, contracts, pictures and all series of data which you have on the phone. So I think while google and the likes are platforms that run on data and they gather data as well, Telephones and the likes should not be allowed to do that. |

Just got this from Twitter If Xaiomi and oppo will embrace it and all other Chinese firms including transsion should embrace it, wether it support Facebook, WhatsApp or not Android is Dead in Africa,if you can't buy the phone with Oak os then go and buy Android phone if you can afford it,in which I know 80% of Africans will not be able to afford, ask yourself about how many people are using Samsung,LG, Google pixel, HTC and Even iPhone in Africa... The battle line is drawn. Huawei Amaka

tyup:Oga they said their rival OS will be compatible with all Android apps and believe me if they fail to do so they'd have a way of forcing their Chinese alternative apps down the throat of customers. Over 1billion users of Chinese version of Youku for YouTube, Baidu for Facebook, wechat for whatsapp are very comfortable with it and trust me they are not missing anything. |

Many don't know what will happen if Chinese government force all Chinese mobile companies to use oak os. If that happens Android will go on extinction. The likes of transsion holding are probably the only reason why most nigerians can afford Android. You can see the way the competition of transsion forced samsung to make A series with high-end specs at an affordable price. Since their os is compatible with andriod, i don't see any problem with Huawei. Huawei can partner with Google rivials to produce alternative to thier services. |

PhenomenalMorgan:from what I read what China has been doing is they gift you a head and collect the remains parts of ones body, the funniest thing is that those enjoying the benefit have turned a blind because of the benefits it brings despite obvious evidence oga o, who did we offend in Africa sef God keep dashing us clueless leaders who can't stand on their own without any support from other countries, if decision that concerns all countries in Africa is being made in AU why must they turn a blind when data is being sent to Asia what is Nigeria even doing sef to make sure they are not victim of spy and trade way I wonder |
