Maybe they ended the post wit "I dey house come arrest me"

But on a serious note the plea of the parents is misdirected. They are already arrested. They should seek speedy court process. If the kids are innocent as they claim, the court will decide

Misdirected! How? The wicked fr Edeh has power to withdraw the case from court which is the easiest way.
Secondly, they can't get a speedy trial. You should have seen it. The case is even being deliberately prolonged because they didn't commit any crime, just fabrications against them to get them locked up. The one who met the bail condition was not even released, lol.

If u're lucky enough to come of the claws of such institutions,as some of us did,my advice is for u to face ur future and if necessary pray for those who are still there to escape their systems. The problem most youth especially, those NYSC ones have is talking loud without proper backup and forgetting they come from humble homes. The way most youths talk, because I have them in my establishments, if you don't have self control and always take actions, definitely, you'll become like a tyrant to ppl.

I don't get it. How can you take a suspect to prison when he/she has not been convicted

This country ehn.

In Nigeria, an accused person, if not released on bail is usually taken to prison custody unless the prosecution make a special request that the accused remains in its custody if investigation is ongoing or lawyer to the accused make a special request to the judge that his client remains in the custody of the arresting authority. Prison is not for convicts alone. There is portion in prison for awaiting trial and another for convicts.

Story too long, no time to read!!

Madonna said the boy is an armed robber kidnapper and cultist. His father went to beg and Father Edeh said the boy will die in prison. NANS gave the school 7 days to effect the boy's release or they lead a protest against the school.

This school is really surprising o. Parents should stop sending their children to Madonna. Their discipline is just too much.

Please what sort of discipline do you speak of? I am not understanding

Rev Edeh needs to be dealt with. Feels like a demi-god because of the millions he gets from a glorified secondary school concentration camp

Trust our friends from the Yeast. Any action taken by the NUC or NANS will be fought by them on social media. They will tag Muhammad u Buhari as being the arrowhead of the "persecution" They will call Nigeria all manners of names.

Back to the topic, in as much as I strongly condemn locking up students by school management over flimsy excuse such as expressing their views on social media, same thing that AIT Ray FM allegedly did that brought sanctions on them recently which led to outcry by our Igbo people of persecution and all sorts, I argue students to either exit the school as fast as possible or abide by these dehumanizing rules if they truly want to graduate.

This is the time we need some good investigative journalism skills. Whatever is happening in these private schools should be exposed to the whole world and appropriate sanctions should be meted on the school. All in all, Government Policy Institution should be expecting backlash from our igbo brothers and sisters, because you can trust they will rather have their kins killed inside prison by the Reverend Father than have Madonna brought to justice If they are ever found wanting of abuse, intimidation, wickedness in law court or that of the people.

What you've explained now, should hat have been the right process?? Is there no cell in police stations??

Moreover, if you follow that storyline, it's the owner of the school that reprimanded them to the prison yard probably because he's influential. Should that have been norm

Private universities are a menace in our society,

But Nigeria sef, How can you detain somebody for over 2 months without charging him or proving anything, like no evidence kpata kpata.

Well, I blame the parents that still send their children there.

I'll rather home school my children than send them to a private uni
Not true. We have many private universities that are liberal
