I studied in Ewan Institute, Arman. I was working then with a Gas company. apart from arman which is the capital city of Jordan, I think other cities are not too expensive. I was able to save 120k monthly then when I was working the company. it depends on how you spend money bro. (I'm now in to buying and selling)

Please can I pm you because I'm more of business minded person than working though I can still do both if I have the opportunity.

THANKS.

well, it depends on how much you are ready to settle for. Where I worked, I was paid 250k monthly. I have a friend collecting 335k monthly. some people are also collecting 180k, 200k. you can always find a better paying job, it's not like Dubai where you are contracted to work for a period of time before you can change job. on the issue of house rent, you can share flats with other Nigerians. let say 30 to 50k per month, depending on the town and location

Sorry o. Is this amount in Jordan currency or Nigerian currency.

The far better I'm saying here is relative. for instance, I'm doing just OK here and I know that my friends in Dubai are telling me how hard it is for them there. that doesn't mean some people are not also doing fine in Dubai. it depends on how lucky you are bro[/quoete]

You're right...I have lots of friends who regret travelling to Dubai between 2016 till now...some are back while some remain hopeful things will get better....for me, the key most important thing to put into consideration also are how affordable is housing/rent, how cheap is food, transportation nko, are the citizens hospitable...jobs...don't just go there..unemployment is a global phenomenon, even in America...

But with this mouth watering Jordanian dinar equivalent to over N350...it could be tempting, but the standard of living needs to be considered.... My take though...I could b wrong..lol

For those who have been asking me about jobs in Jordan, the information reaching me is that there is scarcity of job for now. I had to call a friend yesterday to ask him if any of the two guys staying in his house has been able to get a job and he said no. People going to Jordan, I will want you to prepare yourself well, it's not easy anywhere in the world. However, for those who want to use the country as a stepping stone to a better country and not to hustle, prepare yourself well financially. Concerning the job issue, I will try my best to help out when I get back to Jordan.

I just confirmed from a lecturer there, they are not admitting Nigerians for now...but there are still schools giving admission to Nigerians, it's just that their admission process is somehow tedious. When I get back, I will have to help you guys scout for those schools.
