Here is the deal,
Let me break it down for you

PDP led the rumour mill that Buhari himself is sponsoring the Attackers without any substantial evidence.

The house of legislature which was always controlled by PDP through proxies made a lot of noise about it without providing any solutions despite being a significant arm of the government.

The members of PDP then ran away with it to campaign to the extent of using dead bodies In campaign posters to highlight their despiration.

Clear enough for you !

Who were d attackers that PDP said buhari was sponsoring? How did d noise made by d NASS concerning d issue prevent buhari from doing his job? What solution should NASS provide as far as security is concerned? If u say it was a rumour, then y would b expecting solution from NASS for something u called a rumour? D use of dead bodies to campaign how did it prevent buhari from doing his job? U haven't been able to tell me d specific roles that Saraki/dogara played in preventing buhari from doing his job
@ emboldened are jokes right ! cheesy

But Nass were able to provide solutions when it comes to issues that might concern PDP by passing electoral ammendment bill grin

Hope you won't ask me if bill passing is part of NASS's work

or if NASS is actually responsible for anything within the Nigerian government outside noise making grin

Or if NASS has any role in finding solutions to the country's problem?

Look Bros, if u are making a claim, u should b able to defend it with facts. As far as am concerned, all u have said is conjecture. Am not saying u are wrong with ur claims but if u can't produce facts, then am sorry, u can't convince me.

Good they passed electoral amendment bill. Whether that was 4 their own benefit or not, I do not no. But how it prevented buhari from doing his job is what u haven't been able to say. If u say there's insecurity in d country & that NASS needs to provide solution 2d problem, then pls enlighten me as to what& what it is they needed 2do that they didn't do. But also bear in mind that u said it was a rumour. So am wondering how u said they were spreading a rumour but at d same time u expected them 2 find solution 2a problem u said was a rumour.

If there is a bill u feel they should have passed that would have enhanced buharis success which they didn't pass, pls say so. If there was a solution which they should have proferred that would have enhanced buharis success which they didn't find, pls say so. So far, u haven't said anything that is believable

I stopped reading when i spotted the emboldened cheesy and started laughing.

I believe you don't really know the job of the legislature is to pass laws that will empower the executive branch of government cheesy

Simply because whatever they pass when signed by executive becomes law cheesy

The current framework doesn't empower the executive to achieve much as insecurity as grown rapidly since 1999 despite increase spending on security by the executive branch.

E.g land ownership laws could be reviewed, since land ownership seems to be a major issue around these crisis.

Policing could improved and so on grin

I have asked u several times what exactly was it that they were supposed 2do that they didn't do? What part of their constitutional functions did they fail to perform that u say is responsible 4 buharis poor performance? Uptill now, u haven't been able to say one thing that d legislature didn't do right.

What is d current framework & how does it not empower d executive 2 achieve much in terms of security?

So all d money that is being spent who has been spending it, what have they been spending it on& where did they get d approval to spend it? How is it d fault of NASS that d executive spent so much of security without results to show?

Bro

PDP (the party of saints) spent billions of dollars on security for 16 years, yet a territory the size of Belgium was lost to a Islamic rebel group (Ref BBC ) as at 2014.

APC is currently struggling with Fulani militia group whose activities started under PDP (party of saints)

I believe that goes to show that the executive branch of government alone cannot solve the issues of Nigeria insecurity by throwing money at it.

It is now left to the legislature to come up with some new ideas by proposing new ammendments to the current Nigerian constitution (frame work).

The Nigerian Legislature have to come up with something

Stop acting dumb like you just crawled out from a rock bro, you should be in tune with everything I stated earlier.

And No! legislature can improve policing by looking at issues of community policing amongst others related issues with all seriousness! This is not the job of the executive

Nigerian practices a constitutional democracy! with seperations of powers.

I will not respond to your post again.

Pls keep ur emotions 2 urself. If u don't have d temperance 4 a discussion, then don't get into. Am sure u can express urself without resorting to d use of foul language. U haven't said anything that u say u hate repeating urself.

Whether PDP is a party of saints or not isn't my business cos that's not what we are talking about. We are discussing about how d activities of d 8th NASS prevented buhari from doing his job& getting results in.d area of security. Pls stay focused.

If u say d executive alone can't solve d problem, what exactly are NASS supposed 2do to help d executive? How did d 8th NASS not help buhari in solving d problem of insecurity?

What is d present framework as far as security of Nigeria is concerned? How did that framework prevent buhari from providing security for Nigerians? What is d "something" that d legislature has to come up with?

Is it because of community policing that y fulani herdsmen are on d loose in Nigeria? So if u no that there's separation of powers, what are d functions of d executive as far as security is concerned? Who controls all d security agencies in d country? Is it d legislature?

earlier u said

Since d executive controls d police, did it write 2d NASS about its challenges & d NASS refused 2 help? Did buhari send any bill on community police 2d NASS & they refused 2 debate it? Did d president communicate with NASS as to how d "framework" is preventing him from doing his job?

When buhari was first about these Fulani militia group, I thought he said they were foreigners, Gaddafi boys? How come u are now calling them Fulani militia group?

The senate can enact a law to curb insecurity by passing a bill that tackles the root cause of the insecurity. i.e the human issues.

Security is not about deploying Guns and soldier to strategic locations all the time.

@ emboldened

The IGP is not the only security Chief in the country, they could have invited others.
one of the root causes of insecurity can be traced to financial corruption...

when the Senate tried to help, what was the reaction of the President?
