Good morning everyone,

Pls I will like to ask everyone opinion on my chances for Express entry/federal skilled worker as I am about to thread on this pathway.
My profile below,

I'm 28yrs old single
A medical laboratory technician with 6yrs experience,
Qualifications is OND (3yrs diplima)

I'm actually concerned about my qualification because all profiles i see here are BSC etc.
I will appreciate your responses all.
Thank you

I simulated your scores as single and it is 407 with ielts of 8777. Maybe you have to complete your HND to make you competitive.

Congrats on the success of your evaluation.. please could you help me out with mine.. I want to also evaluate my result with ICES. Expecting a reply please. thank you

Thank you.
What exactly do you need help with?
Where did you study?
If it's Uniport, please use WES, mine was purely a miracle.
If not, please visit the ICES website and go through the procedure.
Please note that their current processing time is 14 weeks.

Everything is becoming scary here. Please i see people saying they wrote IELTS 4times. Does it mean they paid 75k four times. What's the fate of those that aren't gainfully employed on this express entry because everything is a factor of money. Please some one should clarify these things for me

I think your course is hot cake in one of the provinces. Try the PNP route.

Hi,

I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge as those before me helped out too.

1. page 1 is your friend and companion for all your questions, as all you just need to do is familiarize yourself well with page 1 enough as much as you do your holy books... lol

2. To be candid, your OND alone cant get you required point, i think you need to register for professional certificates such CIMA or others so as to get evaluated for 2 or more degrees.

3. write and ace IELTS to the best of your knowledge so as to get a good aggregate score when you are ready to dive into the pool.

Seniors in the house can also weigh in on this and add whatever i must have missed out... but all in all page 1 is your go to for all your questions.

Hello friends,

if my payslip shows record of tax payments (automatically deducted by employer), do i still need to get tax documentations? i just asked my accountant at the office and he says it might take a while to process the tax papers.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by bankyh1905(m): 10:47am On Jun 14, 2019
Since the tax is deducted directly from source (PAYE), it's not for you to show evidence of tax deduction. Preferably, I think one should explain the differential in a LOE.

That is what a friend who has gotten PPR did. See the line below in the LOE.

I also wish to state that my salary was paid directly to my salary account ***** that I maintain with *** Bank through e-payment. Monthly tax and other deductions from my monthly salary of ***** results to monthly net payments of ***** as shown in the statement of account.

Please has any one here requested for letter of indebtedness from Access bank? They claim that they don’t give letters in CIC format. Please help?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by omoluabiade: 10:55am On Jun 14, 2019
Paid four times ke! Once you make an initial payment you can rewrite as many times as possible. grin grin grin

On a lighter note. Fear not and take it a day after the other. Start the ECA process while preparing for IELTS. For IELTS get all the help you need. All the best

It’s IELTS breakthrough

1st attempt (LRWS)-BC- 7.5 8 6.5 7.5
2nd attempt (LRWS)-IDP- 8 8.5 6.5 7.5
3rd attempt (LRWS)-BC- 8 9 6.5 7
4th attempt (LRWS)-IDP- 9 8.5 6.5 7
5th attempt (LRWS)-IDP-9 9 7 7.5

Thanks to everyone that has helped me on this journey at one point or the other. Ladymarshal, Johnnybravo, wasseynewest, online tutors, telegram groups etc. thank you for your tips, materials, essay corrections and support. Waiting for EOR on the 3rd and 4th attempt.

I don’t have much tip different to what has been shared and said many times. I used only Cambridge materials for my reading, listening. Used Jay’s PPF method for speaking part 2. The two times I used Simon’s method for speaking, I had 7. I decided to return to my method for the last attempt – I answer the questions directly first, then talk around my response to have something to say till my time is up. For my last attempt, I used wasseynewest writing method.

A word to those still trying to cross this hurdle. Never give up, it’s easier said than done right? After you must have felt sad/cried over that result and the sadness is over, pick up that PC, prepare more and re-register. When there is life, there is hope. A big thank you to my sweetheart for his encouragement during those trying times. Like he always say ‘’ despite this result, thank God that you are alive, you have the fund and you are healthy to write the exam, thank God that you even have a chance at this Canada PR program’’.

Re-prepare, re-write and NEVER EVER GIVE UP!!!

I can imagine how much joy PPR clinchers feel. I'm so happy right now

Boost what. Your OND and HND qualifies for two or more cert nah, evaluate with WES.
Our elders can verify this though.

Good evening all,

Please what certification can a HND holder (Computer science) do to boost his/her crs score?

My people ur advice will be highly appreciated. My spouse IELTS results came out this morning as LRWS 8,8,7,6.5. This is putting my CRS as the PA on 450. If she had a 7 in speaking, my CRS would have been 452. Considering the scarcity and importance of 2points these days, do we ask for a remark or just hope some day we will clinch ITA with the 450? Pls note that she wrote with IDP. Thanks
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by happyme31: 11:40am On Jun 14, 2019
Now I see why the CRS score is this high.
I just found out that 80% if not more of my colleagues are on this journey.
Imagine my shock today hearing one of them discussing her IELTS score on the phone.
Meanwhile yesterday, another was at it, taking about her result not caring who listened. Two others are writing next month.
I used to do my thing discreetly not knowing everyone was on this journey . We could already start holding meetings.

Ask for a remark, EOR should be out before next draw. Each point matters in this journey

Hello House,

please i have a friend who has evaluated credentials and gotten other requires documents, but the problem is with her IELTS.

She has written 4 times and the particular issue is with writing, she just got 6 in writing while the LRS is 8,8,7.5. Now i understand the unprofessionalism of BC.
if she gets 7 in writing her CRS will stand at 462 which is super great.
Frustration is almost killing her and she has given up on retaking the IELTS due to funds and the stress of the job.
please what else can she explore at this point cz shes tired. Is PNP possible?... her degree is in banking and she has accounting experience.

someone please help here.
