SooCute:

Studentenwerk and SWG are not the same.

Take Studentenwerk like Normal School hostel managed by the uni. I no like am because na only students dey there and you have to leave after your studies. Plus, i am a private person, i am more like on a code nigga.

SWG is "WG" is the Wohnung = residence, . Stadt= City.

So it's a public accommodation scheme. When they find a good reason why you should be in the city (studies or work), then its easier for you. Its not easy to get due to long list, but when you get it, you are okay. The rent is usually below 200 euro for everything. Normally, it is very cozy... And you leave when you feel like..not like the other one that you must have to leave after graduation.

So imagine paying 350-450 euro (like in my school) with the Studenten wg.....Or rather less ?
150 euro basic rent...if you economize heater and water, you pay less than 200 a month.
I know people paying 190 euro per month in a house better than most private homes.

Bro, which school are you or did you attend?

Basalt:

You need to reveal the email address of the sender for us to know if the response is actually from German embassy.
Atleast we have their email address
Glad I wasn’t the only one that thought same. People do the most here

This Basalt of a guy, you are miss leading people here. Stop giving wrong information. Many good people cancelled their appointment because of you.

The info given above is as genuine as your waec result.

If have like follow Basalt advice and cancel your already booked cat A. Both of you will remain in Nigeria .

For the last time, ANYBODY with at least a 2.2 in your b.sc and coming for another b.sc, m.sc or PhD go and book Cat AAAAAAAA

He who has ears let them here.

Una go remain for naija Dy listen to fake rumour and waiting for never moving cat B when u already qualify for cat A.

I nor get time to dy argue with anybody.

Thanks

See as you are just embarrassing yourself in public.
My demand is simple. Let her post the email address of the sender to make everything authentic.
How is that misleading the public?

If you are smart enough, you would demand to see the email of the sender to know the authenticity of the email.
I am not doubting her but until the email address of the sender is revealed, that picture is not certain to be authentic

coming to the TU in Hamburg (TUHH)?

will you need assistance when coming into Hamburg for the first time?

I could free up some time to render some assistance and meet you up at the airport ( It's my way of giving back to my country)

T&C applies.
I sent you a mail, check.

I honestly don't have it. I just posted the information cos I didn't want to keep it to myself

You don't have it?
Why not contact your friend who did the screenshot since you already said she is your friend. You can easily tell her to do another screenshot revealing the email of the sender.
Konphi:
So, a friend contacted the embassy to ask them if category A

Until the email address of the sender is revealed, that screenshot can't be confirmed to be authentic.

Remember, I am not doubting anyone here, I just don't want people to get turned back at the embassy for booking wrong category.

I say keep your date jejely...lol. But for real though, Cat A is the preferential category, so if you're going with a cat B appointment letter, they won't turn you back because you are basically overqualified. And with the way dates are all over the place, just hold on to the cat B date you have and go for your interview without issues.

Hey Guys, Here's my experience at the Embassy.

Mr Paulinus wasn't what I expected, listen to him, don't panic and you'll be okay.

So he sorted my documents at the gate, I went in to the Visa section and waited almost an hour.

I was the first person for student visa.

I was attended to by a lady VO

*Transcript*

VO: Hi, Good morning, what are you here for?
Me: Student Visa
VO: For what course?
Me: ------
VO: You have not funded, I can't find any proof that you have even opened the account,
Me: I was not expecting a Visa appointment date this early, I only had three weeks to prepare.
VO: She hands me two forms to sign indicating that my application might be rejected if I don't provide the complete documents by email.
Me: I signed the documents, letting her know I'll send it via email next week. ( *EPP Me I'm looking for 500k*

VO: Why this course.
Me: &---
VO: Why Germany
Me: Free Tuition and Access to a world Class education.
VO: Why not UK or US?
Me: I can't afford it.
VO: What do you know about Germany?
Me: I talked until I ran out of facts, she wasn't satisfied, ‍♂‍♂‍♂.
VO: What do you do now?
Me: I work as a media specialist for a company in Lagos.
VO: But you studied Agriculture, How come you're a media person?
Me: I was a photographer during my undergraduate days and I picked up skills in media.
VO: How much are you getting paid?

Me: Told her my Monthly salary and mentioned that I got it a few days after completion of my NYSC, I mentioned that I had done a few jobs for my employer as a student and corper, hence, he decided to bring me on.

She also asked if I had learnt German, I said not officially.

She said I include my form number on the email I send with the confirmation of funds.

NB: They'll hold on to your original Certificates.
