You probably bought the Chinese version with global ROM or you have an unlocked bootloader but it shouldn't limit your apps na. It's strange.

Yes you won't be able to use dstv now app on an uncertified Google play unless you tweak your phone unfortunately but chat me up let me give you an dstvnow apk that would work with your device.

You probably bought a Chinese version with global ROM flashed on it or you have a global version with an unlocked BL. With these your device can not be play store certified.

i am using the chinese version & I was able to update without issues (though I am now on MIUI.EU ROM).
I think what you shud do is this: Once you start ur download, pull down ur notification area and you shud see a notification about 'download limit' (though some of it might be in Chinese) just click 'Yes', it'll allow ur download to continue.
