Suspected cultists numbering about seven has killed Odey Thankgod, a 200L student of the faculty of Education, University of Calabar, UNICAL, Brainnews report.

The incident occurred at exactly 4pm on Saturday, June 15 sequel to a deadly cult clash at Etonko street, Calabar Municipality, Cross River State.

The victim sustained matchet cuts, his five fingers were all chop off, also, bullet wounds all over his head and chest. The deadly attack has been attributed to vikings confraternity.

The police later evacuated the corpse to the mortuary.
