A footage captured by a body cam of the moment a man shot dead a fire fighter has been released by the Police in Wisconsin, United States of America.

According to reports, the suspect had been treated for a suspected drug overdose before he opened fire on first responders, gunning down a Wisconsin firefighter before he was killed in a shootout..

Two Wisconsin officers were justified in the killing of the suspect who in the video could be seen engaging in gun fights with police that left a city firefighter dead in the crossfire last month, a prosecutor said.

Firefighter Mitch Lundgaard was a 14-year veteran of the Appleton Fire Department, Appleton Fire Chief Jeremy Hansen said at a press conference Thursday.

In the Video, before the shootout, the man asked the officers not to touch him as he has problems with officers touching him. He however stepped back and brought out the gun which he had kept under his cloth and aimed at the officers.

A person pointing out part of a problem does not mean he supports the problem or the other story of what causes it.

They would arrest him..he is a big fool to think he could kill a force man and escape just like that . He will rot in jail

The man shot the police guy cos he can't risk going to jail if he was arrested as they initially wanted to, cos he know they will definitely see the gun on him so he had no option than to shoot and flee but that didn't help him either
