Folks like you are poor students of history and it is our responsibility to continue to educate you. After the annulment in 1993, General Buhari was among the very few northern elites that spoke out against the annulment. He issued a statement that was widely publicized then calling on IBB to complete the announcement of the result and hand over to the winner.

That he later served as the chairman of PTF in the interest of Nigeria doesn’t invalidate the fact that he spoke against the annulment of MKO’s election.
