Truth be told, both teams are extremely poor. Isn't it this same football that those Canadian ladies are playing? That Canada team would easily whitewash any of this two teams without breaking a sweat

We are playing with two strikers but Oshola seems to be problem.

Nigeria could not string three pases together, yet Oshola is the problem.

I don't understand this.

Extremely boring first half but NGR would love it that way. Dennerby should please sub Oshoala she's just mins away from serious hamstring, this isn't a do or die game. sad
Nope, In sports terms it's a " do or die" ...make or mar..they should massage and wrap it up in ice pack till end of break ...las las she'd be fine.

We need her there prowling around the French defense...and pretend to be quiet and booom ...like a cheeta and a lioness...she takes off like the last time and gets a goal grin

COMPAQ:
No offence to the girls but the lack of education and therfore intelligence comes to play when you watch both the men and women play. A well educated kid is able to take coaching instruction much better and apply it to the game I. E when to pass, when to hold on to the ball and wait for support, when to tackle and when to just stand and shepard the player, when to make a run behind the defender and when to run wide!

We lack the basics, not just because of poor coaching but also because of poor mental capacity of our players (make and female) to take it in.

After all many of our players are typically from the streets.
Wow, you truly understand why we've not been going far in this competitions. This problems also affects other African teams and third world countries.

I recent times I've seen the correlation between Education, economic prosperity and talent. Talent is never enough.

Her touches may be poor but she always return to back to defend.. She is still 50/50 in the game

So quality of primary and secondary school education for Sao Paulo and Lagos na the same abi? Or Lisbon and Lagos? And at what age was messi in LaMaisa academy? Hope you know La Maisa offers quality education as well as football training.

Rashidi Yekini (bless his soul) wasn't the most literate man during his time, but he is still Nigeria's all-time highest goal scorer.

Good for us if the game stays like this. The coach has done wonders drilling these girls defensively and instilling some confidence as they play against the host team and host crowd. Tis just remaining a mistake or lapse of concentration from France against a Nigerian counter and boom!. It's on.

Oshoala lost Women Champions league final and she's from Zoogeria.... Playing against the opposite gender of the World Cup Champions...My analysis aren't that solid but if you ever think they would see a draw in this match then you need to be fixed... It's either your brain is bleeding or you were cursed to always trust and hope on a doomed country like Zoogeria

This is the source of the argument.

Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene asked the Dutch number 2 for a drink of water. The dutch girl refused (apparently for health reasons). This annoys Onguene. A Dutch substitute then brings a cup of water for Onguene, but she knocks it away.

grin grin Women! Na so dem be.I remember something similar happening at the women football event at the 2004 Athens Olympic games.Ngr vs Germany.A Nigerian player tried to collect a water bottle from a German female handler and the lady just removed her hand.Never seen it happen in any men match though. They always share theirs no matter the rivalry
