The only issue I see with higher rentals is that the car must suffer more

When a partner is putting a car for say 30k a week, the driver taking it is aiming to make like 60k that week. So if your rental is 40k, I'll have to work that car's ass off too

The car suffers when rentals are increased.

My opinion too
Where were you when someone was doing 10,000miles in 30days cheesy

Both parties should protect their interests.

A better offer doesn't translate only to lesser rentals. Like I said, conditions matter

Condition of car
Servicing
Maintenance
Etc

I'm always concerned about all these before I hear your rental fee

My opinion though
Please don't be offended, are you a driver?
Because most drivers I come across even at the airport do 30 and the owner still does maintenance yet some times they still default.
The few I see doing 35 always wish they had something better.
Even in our various groups if u advertise your car and you want to do 35 they will finish you that day.
I know it's not easy for the partners too but I think 30 is fair for now and 35 should be discouraged.
The people doing 30 didn't steal their own cars.

That car was probably driven by two drivers. Morning shift and night shift grin

And it will still be serviced every month grin

I can only do that with German products, I tried it with hilux but I cautioned myself that day later reduced to 160.

Some Japanese vehicles are very stable at high speeds with superb handling.

For me, the vehicle must have a low ground clearance, built to be driven at high speeds, tires in good condition. Tire must be of good quality with high speed ratings.

I will also never do high speed driving on Chinese tires. Akant take chances. Surviving a tire burst at speeds beyond 160km/hr dey God hand.

Okay
I'll agree with you....

Now look at it from the partner's side?

How much is a corolla?
If I handle maintenance and servicing and you pay me 30k, how long will it take for me to recoup my principal Abi na capital?

Because we are drivers doesn't mean we should be blind to reality and become inconsiderate

I'm not saying 35k is perfect, but anyone can fix his rent and depending on the conditions, you either take or leave it. Chillex even advised on bargaining which is cool

Most of the drivers screaming 25 and 30k won't give it out at the same rent when they eventually own a vehicle.

My summary? If you can deliver, collect am cool

Bro forget those few monikers, alot of small boys here, they are not ur level.

My brother honestly it is not about small or big level matter.. It is about stating the facts. I try as much as possible to bring facts to the table, it is not even a matter of dissing anyone.
Oga Radauto show say na first class level she dey on.. But first ,second class o either class na same destination we go land.. No be say first class go land before economy class ,na same plane we dey .
Apart from that ,she pull up information saying Japan gives tourist visa on arrival to most people.. But she didn't not give out all the information, like the little fine print at the bottom.. As a followers see visa on arrival to most tourist ,most of them or better yet all of them ,will go sell their mommy and papa land, borrow money up and down.. When they now reach Japan embassy or Japan itself, they will expecting visa on arrival as soon as possible, dashing their hopes and leading them to their early grave..and some committing suicide
She stated that Japan gives visa on arrival as if any country can enter Japan easily .. Correct me if am wrong, we have over 100 countries in the world ,Japan allows only a fraction of that visa on arrival, Japan is way more advanced Yankee, in terms of technology... their currency Yen is almost matching the dollar.
Well maybe are body dey hot ,when she was posting those information o , I don't know ..But it seems to me she wants to lead her followers to the slaughter house... But those ones are too stupid to open their eyes.. May God help us all

You are right, that's my only fear tire wahala.
But u know with German products you have a better chance, I was traveling with my uncle in 2011 with his Audi A6 V6 4.2 engine (a car with such an engine even mechanics will look at the tire and everything they will say it's a jeep in a form of a car) all wheel drive front and back axle. A little after igbanke Edo at 160 when the tire blew I was surprised with how balanced the car was as if nothing happened.

The reason why it's so is because investors are jumping without looking.
I once said, investing 2M on a business like uber is disastrous.

Even Dru23 is scared for his cars which is the reason for his optimism.
Leave bleaching manager, things have really changed.

I didnt drive on uber for over 4months and 2days Ago I was doing trips of #375, #450.

Okay I will agree with you too. But both parties have to be considerate anyways, yes it's not easy it is business or investment and anybody that's business minded would normally want to make profit. But looking at the way the job is now 30 is perfect but if u still want to bargain for 35 because of whatever reason it's fine by me. But majority of drivers will not do 35 except they don't have option. That's the fact, the ones doing 30 don't service their cars the partners do. In fact it's better as a partner you do your servicing yourself

Me too won't encourage anybody to invest such amount in this business, most times they don't recover that money. Some will even sell the car along the line, you start hearing clean corolla for sale. Some even recovered their own and started using it as personal car.

Oga you were simply lucky.
Try it next time and slam on the brakes then come back to tell the story.
Speed kills. We all get tempted to hit the pedal harder especially when on a well laid stretch of asphalt, but the thing wey dey sweet can kill sometimes.
Come to think of it, if you do 180km/h from Lagos to Onitsha, and I maintain 140km/h, we will get to the destination almost same time with about 1hr 30mins or at most 2hrs difference. So what's the rush for?
Your car suffer more damage, your pocket suffers on fuel, you loose precious energy through high speed braking, your tyres suffer, and you end up loosing a lot.
It pays to drive at the sweet spot or cruising speed and enjoy life biko.

waoh...

where I worked before, I had a driver that did a 360 with me in the hilux where he was dodging a reckless taxi driver @ very high speed (very very high)..... since that day I began to fear Abuja drivers.... how the vehicle didn't tumble and roll.... only God knows

the surprising thing is that, he never claimed to be wrong.... even when it was obvious.... how can u be dodging a full golf @ high speed as if one is dodging a passerby @ low speed?
to me it's like they don't know how to drive... no offense intended, maybe it's because of my Lagos mentality!

I personally think the govt should put speed bumps there!

No need for that at all; there are no settlements along the expressway and there are pedestrian bridges at the right point.
