I applied to both schools but Cologne sent me a mail that they were excluding my application cos I didn't have up to 18ects in Economics.

On the other hand, Niederrhein sent me a mail that they had received my application from uni-assist. They made it clear that they will only take 2 non EU applicants.
Please what course did you apply for in cologne?

I wonder why Ulm will send rejection letter by email and also post it. See me rushing to go and pick up my letter from Germany, only to see a rejection letter. God will do it very soon.

Wonderful! Even with their 1500 euro tuition fees?

I’m yet to hear from them also. Msc IFBC. Uni assist sent my application to them on the 6th of June according to the mail I received.. really hoping for a positive response.

Does anyone know if uni Kassel (M. A. GPED) sends rejection notice or not? They've been silent for too long (uni assist forwarded docs in early April) and the first round of AL has been sent out (in May) but I wasn't lucky in that round and I was informed that my application has moved to second round reviewal but no reply for the mails I have sent since getting the last information.

In Nigeria we have nuc , nma ,coren and so on as accreditation body.

But abet or asiin. Are international accreditation body.

No school in Nigeria has abet or asiin accreditation.

I applied for msc petroleum engineering.i guess that what they wanted as application criteria cos I submitted that of nuc

Good day guys, I paid to uniassist last week and payment has been confirmed, but my fear is them sending my vpd before the schools deadline which is July 15 cause i read they use 4-6 weeks to assess. Is it advisable to mail them to hasten my evaluation due to the deadline? Also can anyone provide me their mail?. Thanks

Hello and welcome.
You would do very well if you can take time to read very well through this thread. Start from page 1. A lot of vital information are embedded in most of the pages.
However, I will try to list the steps as best as I can.
1- Visit www.daad.de Here, you can check for courses and filter based on your choice. You can also use Google search.
Once you get the courses and schools. Make your personalized list and you can mail the schools to ask further questions AND dont forget to check each program's FAQ. Many answeres are usually there.
2- Each school have different requirements. Some require you go through Uniassist.
Uniassist is like a middle man organisation between students and the schools. You submit your documents to them (via email and post). They process it within 4 - 6 weeks. If you meet the school criteria, then they forward your application to the school for consideration.
You can apply to as many schools as possible to increase your chances.
Usually, your first application on Uniassist is €75 and any other ones cost €30 each. You only need to send your documents by post ONCE to uniassist.
3- Some schools require you apply directly to them. Some ONLY by mail, some only by POST and some you apply by mail, print out the application form and send by POST.
The school's website will let you know which process they use.
4- Many times, you need language proficiency document. A document to show that you have competent English language proficiency.
Some schools mandate you to have IELTS or TOEFL, while some schools will ask you to submit a document showing that your previous studies were done IN English.
You can get such document from your previous schools.
Some schools also waive this requirements for Nigerians.
So, you need to read each school's requirements very well.
From experience, having IELTS/TOEFL always increases your chances.
5- After applying to the schools, you wait for AL (admission letter). When you get AL, then you apply for Visa interview date using CATEGORY A or B.
6- Once you get a Visa date, then you can do your BA (blocked account) or SL (sponsorship letter).
You need to read up on BA and SL if you dont have any knowledge already.
7- After your Visa interview, you wait for 4weeks or more for your AM (approval mail). This mail is the approval that your Visa has been granted and you should come with your passport for stamping. After stamping, you find your way in Germany.

I hope this puts some light to your path.

Cheers!

Because your question has been asked and answered several times on this thread, if only you can check.
Like you stated, you will send your BA confirmation. From what I've read, they don't acknowledge while they rarely do for others. Let the gurus com and answer you.

Try to read and follow the steps. It has been stated in number 2. Browse through the website of your proposed university and program, all your answers are there. Admission process differs.

I have just told you to read whatever the school requires.

Whatever the school application requires, you have to send ALL, if you dont send all, you would not be eligible.

If the school requires IELTS, you have to send it.

Yes you have to, but each school has its own requirements. Some schools you have to go through uniassist, some schools you forward the documents to them directly. Some schools you only upload scanned copies of your documents online or send via mail. Check the requirements. And please read through this thread, you'll find all the answers to your questions.
Some schools insist on IELTS/TOEFL, while some will waive it in favour of a letter from your university stating that you were taught in English. But writing IELTS/TOEFL increases the number of schools you can apply to.

Good day. What transcript need to be sent to universities for application. Students (hand copy) or directly from the Nigerian university to them.

You send the photocopies of your original transcript, but it must be certified either by high court, notary public, embassy etc, this is dependent on the school's instruction. Different schools have different specification as regards transcript issues.

NB : You have to find a way to send your transcript to another school close to you through a HOD of a department, to enable you hand pick it there as its most likely your school will not give it to you directly.

Also in TU chemnitz you can go for web Engineering which will give you something computer related. Automotive Software Engineering is good but it won't be funny if you don't have a bit of embedded system experience and a little engineering.

I don't think they do online stuff, you have to go to their Lagos office which happens to be the only one they have for now, that is if you are interested in doing the program. Every other details as regards cost is on their website.
