Even Barcelona Rafinaha has as much Thiago. So wat are u saying? Are you trying to compare Xavi achievement with Thiago?

Thiago has been a main player of the Bayern Munich side that has been so dominant. Rafinha hasn't in any way.

So disappointed in what you posted. Where’s the defense splitting pass Xavi posses? Thiago doesn’t even have Xavi’s movement on and off the ball

Not about defence splitting passing but controlling the game technically with short simple metronomic passes.

They all know here that I am a Barca fan ,I am glad this is not a Messi arguement so they won't say I am bias

Good joe said he has been watching Xavi since 1998 as if Xavi was brilliant 1998 ,I just dey Laff

The other one dey talk about World Cup 2002 ,Ronaldinho was good at that World Cup but he wasn't Brazil best player during the tournament but he was crucial sha

But he has forgotten Xavi was very instrumental during 2010 World Cup 2008 euros and 2012 euros win

Dem don turn am to Cr7 and Messi while we are talking about technicality here

Person self don mention yaya toure ,I tire

Ronaldinho was among the top 3 best Brazilian players at the world cup. He wasn't even suppose go self.

The argument is now getting clownish from some people. I will summarily withdraw from such a stupid argument.

A Ronaldinho type of player will be hard to come across again. THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS THIS. Nuff said.
I understand Some people here can't do without argument, Even when it's so glaring that what they are arguing about is baseless.

Lol intertoto cup

Did psg play in the FIFA World Cup ? Stop putting club football as international football

There is no Big deal if an average team like psg player got a World Cup medal ,even an Atletico Bilbao player got a World Cup medal 2010

A big player need a big team ,you are trying to discredit Xavi that he won't achieve anything at a small club ,it's normal ,but he never played there so don't talk

Put Messi and Cr7 in westham or Everton they won't win the Epl

Ronaldinho didn't even won much at Barca (he was Barcelona best player during is time ) so I am not discrediting him ,and he is also one of the best players to play for Barcelona ,he is a legend

2 laliga and one champions league he won ,thou his time at Barca was not long sha

Ronaldo and Messi will be noticed in an average club but Xavi will not be noticed.

Ronaldinho is more technical than Xavi still remains the bone of contention.

English football is still better than Nigeria's football. We don't need to mock them.
our youth football is better than theirs

Oga, Douglas Costa is a clown compared to Ronaldinho.

Anyway, I'm done with this.

Douglas Costa has been too relevant in the game to be tagged a clown
From Gremio, Shakhtar, Bayern Munich to Juventus, he has been brilliant and helping most sides to titles.

Very funny. You are taking a compilation of Xavi’s career to compare with a game of Thiago. Lol.

That says a lot. grin

We are not talking of class but similarity. We can not compare Xavi and Thiago Alcantara in class but they are similar kind of players.
Agreed.

Players in their U21 like Maddison, Wan Bissaka, Foden, etc would break into Super Eagles first 11.

It is just funny I showed you a match performance of Thiago and you want to use a career clip to compare. Bring a Xavi vs clip and you will see his game relied more on control than Eagle eyed through passes.

Yep. Bissaka is a monster at one on one defending. Congo needs to tell us how they let that guy slip through their fingers.
I sha heard he started off as a striker/winger till they tried him at RB in training and my guy caged Zaha all day.

Ronaldinho style of player will be very hard to see

You won't see Xavi type of players in all this new school midfielders

I am yet to even see Cafu or maldini type of full back
Dani Alves is better than Cafu

I expect Samuel chukwueze to make the most of his technical abilities, he should be burning the burundian full backs, or at the very least, be trying to.
One of those players that looks disinterested without the ball is iwobi ,probably not true but. At least they all should try to appear lively, and don't give up on balls so easily.
with Kalu ruled out Chuks should start, I just hope Broda Jude will make the most of our chances today, we need to score early to destabilize the Burundians because the more the game progresses the more confidence they'll build
