The one and same person affidavit is it for your maiden name discrepancy. If it is, then you need your change of name affidavit which should be similar to the newspaper publication content with the caveat that all documents remain valid. That's my take
dedalove:
Hi all, I have a newspaper publications of my change of name after marraige and a Sworn affidavit of one and same person. will that be enough to prove a legal change of name? Or do I still need to get a sworn affidavit for change of name?

I am exactly in the same situation with your bro.

They seem overwhelmed with too many applications.

I deeply regret using IQAS. I actually used them because my POF wasn't ready as at the time and thought I would get it ready before IQAS process the ECA with usual delays.

But now miraculously POF is no longer a problem, but it's now the ECA.

If I don't get any meaningful reply from them soon, I might consider doing another ECA using another assessing body.

IQAS is killing me!!!

Showing submitted since February, 2019.

School sent transcript and showing "delivered" on courier tracker since first week March

No communication, no change in status.

Aaaaarrghhhhhhh

Someone should please explain their timeline.

@TITILOLA88, you used IQAS?

Thank you.

Yes, and 6552 is NOC C which is ineligible for EE.

This is noted. @barby008 here is the answer to your question around medicals

lol i feel your excitement, but i think its advisable you do your medicals last, considering the fact that your visa expires 1 year from the date of your medicals

Yes you can do it by listing her as unaccompanied. What is your CRS with and without her?
If you can take along please try because spouse sponsorship can be tasking.
You can evaluate both your degrees and you start studying for IELTS. Show her the sister thread and let her read the landing stories, who knows, she might come around sooner than later.

Let me make a BIG shout out to you all here. I have been reading everything relating to this trend in the past two weeks to really really be informed but I still have very sensitive questions unanswered.

First, I have made personal calculations from the 8777 preliminary eligibility test. I am married with 2 kids of 5 and 7. Spouse with HND and I have masters and ages 35 and 31. Been running a registered company since 2013 in Real Estate, Sales, Installation and maintenance of security equipment, Agriculture (Fish farming, Fish feed production & Palm Plantations) and general contractor with both private, corporate organisations and government. My wife is the GM of the company but have refused to listen to anything about IELTS (lol maybe she doesn't see the value of the attempt as much). So back to calculating wit Non accompanying spouse the score was very high but with accompanying spouse without IELTS drops the scores.
Now, will it be possible to run all this alone and later add my family? I really want to be thoroughly schooled here. PLEASE!!!

Please post your job description. Sometimes are titles slightly differ from what we actually did, that is why posting your job description is important.

Let us be careful with this. The job title isn't as important as the job description.
The job description is what matters. We might know the NOC based on the title but knowing exactly what the applicant did at this job would help. So if we could please encourage folks to post their JB before giving out the NOC code that would be great.

I will advise you keep doing everything you can from your end..u can even evaluate her degree on her behalf..study for Ielts and tell her to act as the examiner attimes.someday she's gonna ask of the progress and you tell her she's the one delaying the process

As a self employed person you'd need to show your CAC documents for ltd company or business name certificate, reference letters from clients,.

Thank you so much.

Please for someone whose profile has expired and he wants to create another one, under the question 'Have you applied for Express Entry before', should he answer yes or no?

Kindly respond to avoid stories that touch...
Thanks.

Answer "No", because creating a profile is not an application. You would answer "Yes" if you got ITA and submitted your documents.
