2004 C300 Kompressor Converted from RHD to LHD, the owner boasted of spending upto 300k for d conversion and yes d owner has such money.
Would it be OK for a 1st benz?
I own an 03 3 series BMW now so cost of maintenance won't be an issue.
Car not registered and he is asking for 800k.
My questions here is about d conversion pls.

Audio system in IS is better than W203 by far. Leave matter not by bass only that makes an audio system good. The seats are very supportive and has good bolstering. The only C class seats that comes close are those of the C230 k which has sports seats. Dash of the Benz is dated and bland compared to that of the Lexus.

I can't speak of what I haven't driven or owned, only C Class I've driven was my own CLK 230k and Nwanneni's C class, interior detailing is top notch and dashboard will break apart eventually., speakers are just nice, not basic but okay.

Now, Oga Oluwaseunla is currently doing a PPI for an Is250, for my big bro- once that comes in this week, I'll definitely borrow and review the interior and speakers. As for the seats (there's nothing to write home about), it's a crowded mall in there.

Yes, it's by far the best W203.

It's still worse than the IS in most aspects, though.

It's not much faster than the IS250.
The IS has better interior quality.
The IS is more reliable and cheaper to own.
Oh, and the IS looks much better.

Imo, the only thing the C320 does better is being a German car. That is, better handling and high speed control.


He can also facelift the IS to look a lot more modern.

Once I get a family, the only cars in my garage will be A Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic and a Truck, if Mercedes have sorted out their issues with the X Class, I'll probably own one (assuming the boy is good dey)... I can't afford to be maintaining marquee liabilities coupled with a high maintenance wife and kids.

For me, a Civic, a high-performance sports coupe (Camaro, Mustang, Corvette), and a Lexus LX.

Civic for economic city driving, sports coupe for fun (trips on good roads, weekend driving, and just to turn up), LX for family hauling, trips on bad roads, and executive appearances.

Inspect and if okay buy....but I hate converted w203's even when unconverted they look somehow in the engine bay. Meanwhile the model is plagued by defective electricals...
