Good morning fellow mi fans... I need ur help urgently... My father is in hospital down with prostate cancer (that's the major issue), although still undergoing more test, this past few days, money is starting to become an issue, to keep up with treatments, specialist consultant etc(he is in a private hospital as his case is an urgent one)... Am pleading with u guys to help with anything u have to support me so that the treatment can continue... I currently need like 300k within now and 14 days time to complete first part of his treatment after which it might be chemotherapy (which is going to be more expensive) or more treatment before chemo... It depends on several things. In a straight specs shootout, the Redmi note 7 will win; better SoC, better cameras, better screen protection, dual 4G support, camera2api enabled out of the box, cheaper than the equivalent RAM/ROM configuration of the Mi Max 3. On the other hand, the Mi Max 3 has; a larger battery, metal unibody build.
Apart from the obvious specs, the Mi Max 3 is intended for those who love big screens, and big batteries. I will advise that you watch comparison videos to have a better grasp of the differences. As always, the choice is yours.

By the time we really get true unlimited data sub for cheap price, many things go change for the pay TV world.

You do know DSTV's infrastructure and decoders can give data access just like SKY tv in the UK but they would never activate it, I guess they fear the impact it'll have on their pay tv business.

Still n my redmi 5 plus brick for no reason mattter. Ive flashed this phone successfully on edl mode using miflash-beta. The problem is i'm still stuck on mi logo.

\Ive tried different china roms, same mi logo issue.

your emmc is probably gone, can you wipe data successfully, inability to wipe data from recovery is one sign for emmc damage

Try to flash with the normal official miflash tools and do full flash/ bootloader lock
