Boss, calm down.

Here, none of the oldies here will encourage you to submit falsified information to IRCC, because we know as e dey go with IRCC. We have seen cases of rejection for something as little as NOC mismatch. But, if you are deeply convinced that the people who have taken out time (including me) didn't get the true picture of the situation, please go ahead with your application the way you deem fit.

I came in peace please, don't come for me. It's too early on Monday morning.

Actually, u are the one coming for me cos u are reading my some false, nonexistent negative vibes from my comment....let me throw this analogy at u.... u are telling me that if Mr Adeleke issues reference for his son Davido as his company strategic consultant, he’s being fraudulent.??
See, I’m not trying to get nairalands approval if wrintting a corporate reference for my brother is right or wrong..I issued his first reference when he was at home for 2yrs with no job since he won’t officially stay in the family biz...and I responded to the confirmation request from first employer that hired him back then.I only asked if it’s advisable for something as an immigration application...just because he’s in a hurry to leave the country cos his PhD application not yet finalized and all I keep hearing is fraud..
I’m not the one going all PMS here....

I’m not on edge, we have a family business we manage... I just feel it might make better sense to give reference from one place than for him to start waiTing for reference letters and statement account from a company he left since 2017 before h went for his masters abroad...I just don’t understand the attack of fraudulent...

.I get the part of being safe than sorry...but I issued work experinice referncr to him the first 2yesr he graduated without a job and the reference request came from zenith which I responded to officially....even though he isn’t officially on the parole..he’s still part owner
I only asked if this could be done that way...I’m just surprised at the strange attacking fraud...it’s a free forum with all manners of people..everyone is free to yarn...

You are mannerlessly rude.

If you knew everything, you wouldn't come here.

All I see are people trying to guide you from making an obvious mistake and your ego keeps sticking out everytime.
People like you make rendering assistance difficult to us. Good luck to your Canada dream.

Dear '1stopRudeness',

Need I remind you that nobody is getting paid here to guide people on what to do and what not to do. I understand you stop 'rudeness' but I don't think this is the right forum to do so.

Some of us have gotten free Information we would have paid over a million naira to get from those called agent..

So when the elders here tells us the right thing to do, just take the advise and stop this verbal attack please dear

NB: please don't come for me , I'm ovulating and my hormones are all over the place

My sincere apologies for being mannerlessly rude...the last thing I do on this forum is insult people.... but I still don’t get how I’ve been rude to you..I’ve only asked question on where I was hoping to get clarity while I relay the situation on ground repeatedly..and for crying out loud in one of my comments above I’ve responded to some one ..that the idea has been ditched

How do you know cic agents are here? There is no proof to that. Furthermore this is a faceless forum and I'm sure 1stoprudeness won't be giving his real identity here.

no be fight. In cic terms what you are planning is misrepresentation simple. We have seen a case of someone who claimed his side hustle because he did not want to be victimized at work cos of EE runs. It was found out somehow and he was banned. We have seen someone using a family business and they asked for CAC. The company was registered for another trade diff from what they currently do. It was deemed misrepresentation. Like i said before visa agents are here. What is they are waiting for his application. He worked in zenith and also went for masters abroad and his ref is from a family business. How hard is that to trace

Haven't they removed Children's Practice from the list of approved physicians?

You'll need to use Q life or IOM in Lagos.

Please note that Children's practice is not an approved Panel Physician anymore. Choose between IOM and Q-life. https://secure.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

It is well bro!

It's all fine. We're all different people and we have our idiosyncrasies. If it will end in apologies to the house, then it shouldn't have started as brawl in the first place. At least not on cold Monday morning.

Like I said earlier to you in my post, I believe you are a good person, perhaps exuding too much passion. We'll still benefit from each other around here and I hope those who felt offended will understand this too.

Much love to you.

Once again, see you (oh sorry, your Bro) in Cannyland soon!!!

No. It is not wrong. Provided it is presented 'as it is'. E.g. If the family business was your main job, a reference for it will not be wrong. But if you had a job with say, a Tobacco Coy, and the family biz was a side hustle; you already know the family business will not be your main job. It will be part of your history IMO. I think this is where the issues stem from.

It's not, as long as you actually worked there. You're better off defending the truth than a lie. We've seen a number of files transferred to Accra for interviews because the VO was suspicious about the work experience from family business. It's not uncommon for people to claim they've worked in certain capacities for family when they really didn't especially as it is very easy to get reference letters from family.

Reference letter is not something you can just issue to someone, you are missing the point. What experience is he trying to show if he has not really stayed in the family business. Bro/babe, your brother will not forgive you if you pass through the back door and failed in the process. A lot of people has been banned several years for misrepresentation.
If the bank refuses to give him statement of account, a refusal email, some other documents he posses from his activities in that bank and LOE should do the magic.
We all here to know how!!!

From all the responses, one can deduce there is no chance for someone without enough job experience to be successful in EE.

Very possible, only that 3years and above gives you maximum point for Job experience outside Canada

Good morning all.
Pls, I have a question with regards to this family business.

An optometrist(eye doctor) who did not take up a job after NYSC, but rather sets up a mini eye clinic in their family pharmacy, where he does consultations, offers treatments and gets paid by the patients, even though this clinic was not registered with the board and CAC, but the pharmacy is registered.

Hope he can claim job reference as having worked in the eye care section of the pharmacy while, still maintaining the NOC for Optometrist?

With that, there is no form of salary structure, since its like a self employment, each payment by clients is done to him directly, how can this be reflected in the job reference?

Sure, why not? I run an "agency". First instalment N2m, 2nd and final payment of N1.5m when you get PPR. Other terms and conditions apply.

Can I send my account number to you?

Meanwhile, you can check page 1 if it won't be so much of a bother or you can't for any reason meet up with the financial demands of my agency fee. wink

It's a DIY bro!
