So has anyone so far gotten the 10 years validity Nigerian passport

Or the government have decided to abort the idea even after their announcements that the 10 years validity will be launched ?

I'd like to know if anyone has an issue with collection of passport (new) at the Alausa secretariat, I've captured since April 2 and been unable to collect it, The agent tells me there are some bottlenecks with printing papers and all sorts. I'd like to know if I've been jobbed or conned(before I overreact) or it's a casual case
PS; I paid 33k for it.

only Abuja does that but u can report d passport as lost, u will need an affidavit and a police report if u want to declare it as lost.

Can I just apply for a new one instead of processing lost passport?

I did mine for 30k everything no extra egunje on top that money paid.
Make sure you have ur birth certificate and ur nin.
It will only take you 2-3 days you will get it.
Capturing will be done that day self VIP 1 office.

I dont know if its difficult to get but i was one of tge first 20. Lol

Its difficult carrying four passports stapled together cos you have all your valid visas split on all, too many entry and exit stamps. The ten year validity passport is ideal for frequent travellers and i think the immigration use that as a benchmark for issuing it.

I have tried to explain that I need it to apply for a scholarship that is closing end of June. please house just advice me on what to do please. I appreciate your help

I dont know what you can do now asides going back to where you do biometrics and mount pressure on the officer handling your file or any other officer there.

This is Nigeria. You mount the pressure with cash/dash.
