8.1 is off on default but 9 is the other way around

I downloaded the "almighty" gcam. Gcam takes great pictures EASILY. there is an improvement over the stock camera of the RN7 especially on the FRONT CAMERA. My own little observation is that if you have a good phone with a pretty decent camera, and a little flair for photography or a little photography skills, you can take a good photo at par with the gcam. The gcam only makes taking great photos for amateurs easy.

I still wonder why on earth someone will condemn the overall quality of the redmi note 7. Even as a seller, I'm amazed at the screen quality and quality of the stock camera.


My only problem with it is the difficulty typing on it because of my addiction to the massive screen of the max series. Funding it difficult to adjust to the small screen. I find myself tapping 2 keys simultaneously on the keyboard.

His is greyed out and his unlocked status shows unlocked (meaning, he can't toggle the OEM unlocking and which means his Bootloader was successfully unlocked).

You can toggle yours which is not supposed to be so. It is supposed to be greyed out too. I'm pretty sure that your bootloader is a fake unlocked one or not properly unlocked.

Use ADB to verify.

You are right. I think he should flash the chinese rom first, then attempt to unlock bootloader with his mi account, before flashing back the global rom.

As a good photographer on a decent device you can get pictures close to Google Camera. But in all honesty nothing right now compares to Google's Digital Computational Photography. Note the GCam w you are using is not taking full advantage of your full camera size, imagine when it now does

He updated successfully because like me his bootloader was unlocked correctly. Those that were affected had fake unlocked bootloader. I posted about this some days ago. Some that were affected this is their first major update.

I use a CV with Global ROM and this is the second major upgrade am doing first from MIUI 9 to MIUI 10, second from android 8.1 to 9

Mine refused to update Chinese ROM flashed to global I was advised to download and install the original ROM haven't flashed miul before
