I'm more pained than most of you can think but truth is, everyone can't get the job. Some will still be dropped after the interview. If you didn't get the invite, encourage yourself and move on. God knows best and definitely have a better plan for you.

I have been going through your write-ups Bro. I can relate with the feelings you are having. But my advice is that you should not get yourself worked up. Just be calm and rely on God. Even if it does not come, still rely on God.

To avoid false hope....These guys should have just sent regret mails to unsuccessful candidates as well.

I have honestly tried to get my mind off it....but I still can't stop checking my phone for sms or email and this thread also for latest news on success

Actually it would have been more transparent if results were sent out and cut-off was announced. With that everyone will know there stand. It's just not fair waiting for something you have no idea what criteria is being used. Still boils down to luck I know but it doesn't make it right. To those still waiting, was cbt invites sent in a day or not? That would kind of give an head way if it's over or not

even private companies or firms hardly show test scores for recruitment not even to talk of government ...is a normal thing

Nope, I applied for EH/Superintendent role and I believe I could rise quickly if I do a good job to earn good appraisals.
Like you rightly said, I am interested in the long-term job security, and what I could do for NNPC's visibility to sharpen its competitive edge among the global NOCs now diversifying their portfolios in the energy value-chain.
It's another ball game entirely if business intelligence outcome/findings will either be left on the shelf gathering dust as usual, or actioned for the NOC's transformation. I just hope and wish to work collaboratively with those very brilliant minds in NNPC or being recruited to take NNPC to the moon! Shey you copy?
