Former aviation minister,Femi Fani-Kayode has commended the governor of Rivers state,Barr.Nyesom Wike on his controversial statement that Rivers state is a Christian state and remains so.

The statement which generated a lot of controversy from various quarters due to its sensitive nature has been condemned by various Muslim groups, however the ex minister has come to the defence of the Rivers state Governor, He wrote"

Hmmm... Must we politicize everything in Nigeria, since I became full grown man Muslims have been living peacefully with other religions in Rivers State, they are in NPA, Army, NNPC, Mishai, Collect scrap iron etc. They contribute to the economy of Rivers State.
Wike will come and go but Rivers State remains.
FFK should be very careful because one day himself or his son will seek political appointment or contest election.
