The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Thursday said that seven ships laden with petrol, general cargo and bulk sugar have arrived at the ports in Lagos and were waiting to berth.

NPA in its ”Daily Shipping Position” said that another 24 ships at the ports were discharging fuel, bulk wheat, general cargo, container, bulk urea, and frozen fish.

Other items being discharged are plaster, trucks, automobile gasoline and butane gas. shocked

Meanwhile, 10 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected from February 16 to February 28.

The authority said that the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

It indicated that the ships contain general cargo, bulk wheat, frozen fish, sugar, container and butane gas.

I hope they put more efforts in the distribution chains

This suffer no be here.

Spending productive hours in a Fueling station is not part of my New year Resolutions

Bitterness and hatred are very bad, it blind people completely, north is first whereas they have stop in Lagos south west offloading.

It will still take about 5 days before it gets to depots.

Then another 5 days before tankers are able to load the product.

So apparently there’s no end to this scarcity until about 1st of March.

And so far nobody has been punished for this.

Imagine if an Igbo was Director General of NMPDRA

Where are the refineries?

How can a country with crude oil be importing refined fuel?

Buhari-Osinbajo lead APC government has failed in this regard.

Sailors are working hard to save your damn ass.. sailors got prayer outside African but this stupid African never pray for sailors.. if you think it's easy to face the sea then go to sea... Without sea borne trade they world economy gonna crack down coz sea borne trade generate 90 percent of world economy other sectors are under 10 percent.... Appreciate the sailors...

Quite unfortunate we can't get our refineries to function & produce fuel locally. Yet huge funds are spent on their maintenance & payment of salaries of non-productive staff.

don't be biased in situation like this,the previous government was also important fuel,none of them build a single refinery, all of them failed us!
