But alas we have them, we just havent deployed them. Just realized that has been a hot topic from as far back as 2016. A deficiency of the photos is not necessarily a lack of the Mi-28s, mutatis mutandis. Sources close to the KDF like the Intelligencebriefs link I shared above know better than everyone here. You are just armchair military analysts sitting your bums at home.

Can you provide proof that Kenya does not have them besides the lacking photos? You are in a Nigerian office not a Kenyan office.

World Airforces 2019 - by flight global list 0 mi28s

Sipri - list 0 mi28s

There is literally not a single photo of a Kenyan Mi28..... Not one.

The Rooivalk hasn't been deployed since recently in the DRC and only entered service(officially) in 2011 yet there are photos and videos of the Rooivalk dating back as far as the mid 90s.

Kenya does not have any Mi28s, if you did then 1. It would of shown on Sipri and 2. There would be photographic evidence.

1. Sipri cannot be more authentic than a source close to the KDF. Their source of information is largely an army of internet users like yourself, trusted spotters and third party reports.

SIPRI: The SIPRI Arms Industry Database includes public and private companies but excludes manufacturing or maintenance units of the armed services. Only companies with operational activities in the field of military goods and services are included, not holding or investment companies.

The sources of data on the companies include company annual reports and websites, and news published in the business sections of newspapers, in military journals and by Internet news services specializing in military matters. Press releases, marketing reports, government publications of contract awards and country surveys are also consulted. Publicly available information on financial and employment data on the arms industry worldwide are limited. The scope of the data and the geographical coverage are largely determined by the availability of information.

SIPRI data on arms-producing and military services companies is revised on an on-going basis as improved data becomes available. For this reason, it is not possible to make a strict comparison between editions of the SIPRI Yearbook. In addition, coverage may differ because of problems with obtaining data to make satisfactory estimates for all companies every year. However, the Top 100 lists from 2002-2015 available on this website are based on a common, up-to-date set of data, and may be meaningfully compared with one another.

2. I told you the Mi-28 have never been deployed by Kenya.

Basically the argument is on whose common sense is superior. My sources vs your sources. I guess we may call it a draw until I or another Kenyan snaps one at the highly secretive Laikipia Airbase.

Quoting an unnamed military-industrial source last week, Russian media outlets RIA-Novosti and TASS said Algeria and Iraq have become the first international customers of the Mi-28NE helicopter with confirmed orders of 42 and 19 respectively

It literally can't be a draw..... You either have Mi28s or don't. It's not a matter of opinion. And the Fact is you don't have any.

Literally every Mi28 export customers are listed on SIPRI...... Except Kenya off course.

2. Never deployed = never flown?? Cool story bro.... So I guess you do 0 training, 0 exercises, 0 maintenance ect ect sounds plausible!!!

I am Kenyan and do not believe we have the havocs. Some years back there was a lot of rumours that we had them plus F15/F16 which turned out as empty talk. We have seen Fennecs, Cobra, Nora B 52, Bov etc but no one has seen the Havoc for that long periodhuh?? . Anyway, let's keep waiting, maybe they will be stationed at Narok Barracks. In the meantime, I don't believe we have them. I sho

Except funding which has been a major constraint for SA defence industry, they do not lack the technical expertise to produce Rooivalk 2.0

Anyway, we'll just have to wait and see.
