KanuSE:I think your opinion is relative and subjective to what you define as clean air. Epe is surrounded by the Lagoon and has a lot of virgin forests surrounding it. What do automobiles produce? What do the plants use for photosynthesis and emit in return? Do you understand the meaning of ocean breeze? I think you equally need to do your research or best visit there and experience the environment. |

mach7:Sorry but I am with Kanu on this one. If there were proper checks on vehicles to maintain standards and safety, a good proportion of Lagosian Vehicles would immediately be taken off the road. Cars produce more than just CO2. They produce particulates, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and toxic hydrocarbons.. All of the above damage lungs and are particularly bad for young children as they develop.. |

MobilityExpress:Which links? Are you talking about the bad pot-hole ridden roads to Ajah and Ijebu Ode, which Ambode and Amosun jointly refused to fix? ![]() |

MobilityExpress:My bother, I felt so hard when he was forced out by Tinubu. Ambode was not perfect but the guy try well well and I feel he should’ve fought for his mandate. Tinubu is not God. I respect him but forcing Ambode not is not in the best interest of Lagos. |

For those condemning Gov. Ambode, he didn't faced only Epe. Over 20 roads n bridges he commissioned in Alimosho LG , the airport road, Oshodi, even Ikorodu where we have the ongoing construction of Igbe road, Isawo road, the biggest rice mill factory in Imota, ongoing construction of the new mile 12 market in Imota under Ikorodu LG, to mention but few. But Epe as a division has been marginalized for long to the extent that some people didn't believe Epe was part of Lagos before Ambode became Governor. Imagine a situation where a division like Epe didn't use electricity for 4 and half years before Ambode became Gov. nobody talk then, where all development were focused merely on island as if Epe were not part of Lagos state. Broadly speaking, Gov. Fashola did the same when almost turned Surulere to London when he was the state Gov. They started it... Ambode is not a bastard and we Epes are very very proud of him no matter what anybody says or does to him. Obviously, we love Ambode die... He is our precious SON. Awa ati baba won Loni Lagos State... |

ABANA80:Yet, Ambode conveniently forgot to fix the roads from Ibeju-Lekki leading to Epe, while Amosun too ignored the trunk roads from Epe to Ijebu-Ode, thereby isolating Epe from benefiting from its proximity to the commercial areas of Lagos and the rest of Ogun state. ![]() ornicus:Thank you for telling the truth, o jare. Only God knows how Ambode's short-sightedness regarding this issue, can be described. |

. He gave them lasting legacies like solid infrastructure, not stomach infrastructure. If every Nigerian leader did such to their home towns since independence maybe Nigeria would have been on par with SA cities like Durban, Cape Town and Joburg. But alas, Nigeria is cursed with terrible leaders. From Orugbo to Agbowa to Imota, Ambode was heaven sent to these places. Epe never had it so good till Ambode came. He came, he saw, he transformed. God bless Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
