Akwa Ibom has good road network.

Back then, you could use about three routes from Ididep to Uyo.

Lagos generally has poor road network although the mainland is way better than the Island. The horrible one is V/I to Epe.

And V/I itself?

A travesty.

Too many one ways which unnecessarily prolongs the trip.

It makes more sense to walk in some cases.

Only one road.

The excellent network of roads in lagos is unequivocal. And fantastic! Especially on the Island.
Thanks to the likes of Fashion. Epe is another masterpiece of Ambode's good works.
However the roads on the outer skirts which serve as major links are currently in deplorable states, such as Ajah - Epe expressway, and the Eleko Refinery road on the Lekki Peninsula, Ikorodu - Epe road, and parts of Badagry Expressway.
All construction works ongoing at Ibeju-Lekki by the former governor have for long been aborted.
We hope that this new government uses his good office to look into these areas.

Think Lagos State has one of the worst major road networks in Nigeria? Then you need to visit Epe, the home town of the former Governor of Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode, to see the wonders the previous government made in terms of road networks.

From Oke Osho - Araga - Poka (that linked Ijebu Ode road ) - Temu and Odomola area, just to mention a few, check out the some of the newly commissioned roads in Epe.

Its a system of interconnected roads&streets. Its about d extent to which streets & roads in a city or town are interconnected to ease traffic & movement of vehicles & pedestrians. If u have just one long stretch of road, which is well tarred, that's not good road network. There should b other adjoining roads that pedestrians &drivers can take to their destination in order to ease traffic on that long stretch of road.

She might b right. Epe isn't d usual Lagos town with all d hustling & bustling. Its still rural in a way which gives it a serene ambience. It's also green which is very rare in Lagos. So it should have cleaner air compared to other parts of Lagos

I just wish they can solve the electricity issue and allow industries apart from banks and private schools thrive.

The electricity issue is getting spiritual.

However, if you have a good source of income, Epe is a fantastic place to live in.

Very serene, no traffic with clean air.

Last visited in 2001 and the only light there as at then was that Julius Berger searchlight. No go roads and nothing. Spent one week with my good friend in darkness, though I enjoyed my stay shaa, bcus we always enter Lagos to flex everytime through Ketu.

It is my home town and every time l drive on the roads ,, my car says 'thank you' ( The only reason why l like Ambode)

Epe has been blessed with good roads since the days of Awolowo and epe plywood then otedola's father . most streets in epe are tared,even streets with less than 20 houses. But recently due to high minnig activities around ijebu ode, epe - Lagos the main express road got bad until Ambode came to rescue.

Was not on in Epe,Ajah, Internationals Airport road he single handedly took the permission from the FG to construct that road as a legacy that would lives for ever with international standard,Abule Egba frying over would be well appreciated by it's environs.hated never wanted good wills.
