I never knew it could take that long. I tot the processing time is 6 months. Did u have a lot of ADRs and have u ordered gcms notes...?
I know it will end in praise! All the best dear!

Thanks dear, they say it's a '6 month average processing time' sometimes less sometimes more. No ADRs, no updates after my medicals and biometrics. Call centre agent said everything looked fine, just that security and criminality had not started

the noc has nothing to do with your degree. You are applying for visa not job

Thanks,I calculated my possible score in CRS ,express entry,it is 420 ,MSC in review, already submitted my highest degree B.Eng for WES verification

Saw a post on PNP for AIPP,Atlantic immigration pilot. From his post he said its better one get a job before applying for the PNP,when I went through the openings,I discovered that for the jobs offers related to the present work I do,the requirement would be that I have a degree in computer science or relative courses.

Please,if there anything to do to boost my Point or other options apart express entry

Thanks

learn french. I am doing that now and enjoying it. Not a very easy route though. It's for those who are willing to give all it takes to get to Canada.

Thanks a lot for sharing this, God bless you.Now my question is, how can someone apply for job? Through online search or someone has to get a job code or be in the express entry pool to participate?
pejuhazel:
This is an explanation of the program from someone in the process:
First of all you will need to find a job and then ask the employer if they are willing to support your PR application thru AIPP or not. Because they will have to do lot of paperwork and disclose some business documents to the government. Small business might not want to do it.

Second, if they are willing to do it then the employer will need to apply to be a designated employer. There are forms and required documents that have to be filled by employer and submit it to the provincial gov't. If approved, the next step is filling endorsement application forms and get a settlement assesment from immigration officer. The immigration will refer you to go to a place where an officer will assess what you need to settle down in the province, for example need a living place, or english course, etc. Its for free. The result of the assessment will need to be submitted along with the endorsement application forms. If approved by provincial govt, the provincial govt will give you endorsement letter.
This letter has to be submitted along with your PR application to the Federal. After you got endorsement letter, you are on your own. I meant, you dont need your employer to do paperwork for you anymore. This part is employee's part.
All the best

you do not need a lagos contact for NECO everything will be processed in Minna
their website is also very functional too so you can call the contact numbers on there
all you need to apply
1) buy 2 NECO scratch cards
2) use one of the cards to generate your neck result from the website and print (at least 2 copies)
3) write a letter to NECO requesting that your statement of result be forwarded to your desired destination
4) now if you are sending to WES be sure to quote your reference number and clearly write out their address also state that you are enclosing in the envelop a second scratch card to for posted along with their response to WES
5) Go to remita website and select NECO to make payment
6) now choose your courier service (I used DHL to enable me track the movement, you can also use the tracking number on the envelop addressed to WES on the WES website)
7) buy two courier bags first one should be addressed from you to NECO Minna (enclose in that one the printed statement of result and your application letter and proof of payment on remita(government payment platform)
cool then the second envelop must be addressed to WES from NECO the second NECO scratch card should be inside this envelop
9) then post to NECO
10) cost 30k+

PS: for 7 above I received a call from a NECO staff telling me I under paid and needed to add 4k, he gave me the option on going back to remita and paying of sending the money to him to make the payment there at their office. It was a risk I had to take cos having to post that one again would cost me another 4k+ so i took the chance. Luckily the guy made the payment and sent me a photo of my receipt grin.

Don't worry its not stressful don't be intimidated by the long post

Infact let me add the response from NECO

Do find below the procedure for result confirmation.

Apply for confirmation of result, the fee of which is 1,050 Naira payable into the National Examinations Council's Treasury Single Account (TSA), payment of which can only be made in Nigeria. Attach the original copy of the payment receipt and an online copy of your result to your letter of request for result confirmation. You are to submit via speed post/courier service delivery directly to the following:

· OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR,
· NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL,
· KILOMETER 8, BIDA ROAD, MINNA,
· NIGER STATE.

· Please note: you are to make provisions for the posting of the result confirmation to the destination school/institution, by including a self-paid speed-post return envelope, already addressed to the recipient, as this will facilitate quick delivery. Also, note that you need to indicate the recipient in your application as we do not give confirmed results to candidates directly.

For details regarding payment into TSA account, kindly contact the Account section of any NECO office nearest to you.

How are you tracking progress at the Minna end? Any contact to facilitate?

Jenny, I do not know much about this stuff but from experience (a friend & his family just left & had similar story to yours), it seems like IRCC delays PPR till after birth for post AORs on declaring status as being pregnant. Funny thing, one can't hide such development from them!.. Just don't worry, your PPR will most definitely land 2-3weeks after birth. Just go for his/her passport immediately once your baby lands. My friend didn't have to update his PoF also, so that's one good news. Pls enjoy the little time you have left in NG. It will end in praise...

My dear I'm still waiting,.. Will clock 9months in a few days, my Edd is around the corner. grin But we don't gat no choice ... them hold the knife and yam this time. God willing, it'll be right on time

Use your married name to register.

While filling the forms, there's a place for you to write out your name the way it appears on your certificate

Hello guys
Please has anyone had a transit at France and didn't use airfrance?
I want to know if I need a transit visa despite having my PR visa on my passport

I have traveled through France many times. I didn't need a transit visa because I had a US visa. The same thing is applicable to having a Canadian visa. You DO NOT need a transit visa.

Each province has participating employers, you can find a list online just Google it. You apply through their website.

I will like to add that, designated employees under AIPP preferred to employ applicants who are on ground (maybe on tourist visa for instance).

You have to be physically present in Canada to have such chance.

You can call Alliance français to make enquiries.

They handle TEF in Nigeria. I saw quite a lot of people coming in for TEF while I was studying French there.

Try this:
You can access what you have filled during the eAPR on your profile.
To check what was filled in your cic profile, Replace documentsToSubmit.do with applicationChecklist.do and hit enter.

Or, simply copy and paste this below link in your url after logging in to your MyCIC account and checking the uploaded documents, press enter (maybe on another tab) :

Not in all cases, I have seen couple of guys who got job offer from outside Canada.

Several New Brunswick AIPP designated employers grant job offers to outland applicants.

Also Prince Edward and New foundland AIPP designated employers offer jobs to outland applicants.

Guys need to take advantage of Virtual job fairs where u meet several employers online and they interview u in their virtual job fair.

Not many people are aware of virtual job fairs.

Atlantic immigration pilot program process is much faster and easier than Express entry that Nigerians are stressing themselves over.

With Atlantic immigration pilot program, the process is just 3 months, but if other technicalities become involved, it will take around 6 months.

Take advantage of virtual job fairs, and when u get a job offer and provincial endorsement, u are 100% certain of landing in Canada in less than 6 months.
The CLB band score requirement for AIPP Is just CLB band 4, if ur IELTS score is very poor for Express entry take advantage of AIPP and the newly introduced Rural and Northern immigrant pilot program.

Rural and Northern immigration pilot program (RNIPP) is similar to Atlantic immigration pilot program.

Rural and Northern immigration pilot program will officially start in fall 2019 which is likely September/October this year, it has the same requirements with Atlantic Immigration pilot programs.

Atlantic immigration pilot pilot program and Rural and Northern immigration pilot program will be the most sought after Canadian immigration programs in the next few months, it's better guys take advantage of these programs now, before they make their requirements very strict , when Applications now increase against the expected target.

The good thing about AIPP is ur Proof of Fund required is just $3167 Canadian dollars which is less than 870,00 Naira.

Ur IELTS score required for AIPP is a minimum of Listening 4.5 Reading 3.5 Writing 4.0 Speaking 4.0

Most people score more than the above minimum score in IELTS

The AIPP program is the best, easiest and fastest Canadian immigration program right now, but not many are taking advantage of it.
