This is rubbish update

WhatsApp and their new development.

Screenshot it and crop... Easy

Will the remove the features that lets us screenshot?

when you can still munch it, well, still a welcome development

Has it disabled screen shot?

Instead of them to increase the status time from 30seconds to 1minute

This is a welcome development. We expect more update on every app for security reasons. Also, there should be way of abolishing multiple account in same social app. This will curb impersonation.

Who even told them that the owners of the profile pics want them to be protected. Who told them that we don't want the pictures copied or saved by our friends.

The same Picture that is on the person's Facebook and Instagram. Ppl can still get it from any of the sources. Irrelevant update.

I like Whatsapp, but I think this is the most irrelevant update.

Why not include some features like themes, available on GBWhatsApp to the official Whatsapp , so that people will stop downloading GBWhatsApp. A lot of cool features are on GBWHATSAPP that the official Whatsapp can copy. But instead, they are updating it with this irrelevant nonsense

lol. you never see programs wey dey block screenshot. the bank i use, you cant screen shot the app page. the only thing you can do to get a copy of the shot is to snap ir with another camera.

Nonsense, some online banking environment can't take screen shot. Why not add screen shots protection too

Before now, you could click on a whatsapp profile picture and choose to copy, save or export the file without the owner of the profile's consent. But things have changed for the better with an update that shows that the WhatsApp company privacy ploicy is more strict and has also removed the feature that allows you to save someone else’s profile pictures.

Once you update your WhatsApp to the latest version 2.19.60.26 on beta mode, you will see that profile images or pictures can't be saved again but this won't stop you from saving your whatsapp group image or icons.

So what is your say on it issue??

If I can screenshot it what is now the big deal?

I wonder why WhatsApp can't just look at how GB WhatsApp has been able to develop their own app & do the same.
To be fair, things have not been the same since I decided to change to the normal WhatsApp, it's as if I'm using a new app entirely.
If you've not used GB WhatsApp, you're missing the real deal !

Doesn't even make any sense, what happens to screen shooting? Anything that can be viewed on the screen can be captured, I guess they only try to modify their app, not a step towards privacy....
