It might be the RAM is bad or graphic issue.

If yes then that's a serious problem.

I don't know the model of your laptop but if it is a PCH(peripheral control hub) architecture, then reflowing the chip might help or replacing it.

Well most engineers don't have the machine to do that so replacing the motherboard might be the only solution.

It might be a bad charger, a bad keyboard or the track pad is bad.

But check device manager for pointing device if it is there, uninstall and restart your laptop.

Check the keyboard if it has cursor lock logo den just press it to unlock the mouse. If the problem persist call or whatsapp if you’re in Lagos 08139462401

I change my chromebook PC to window PC, I installed window 8.1 on it, but the hard drive is too small 16GB, I decided to buy another ssd disk of 256GB, now am trying to install the window 8.1 back, when I get to where to format the hard drive it will say "window can't be installed on this drive, I used command prompt to convert it to GPT, after conversion still the same thing, "cannot install window on this drive, I have used several method still no avail, gurus what will I do?

the hard drive could be almost dead. Major reason for this issue.

There is this brand new hp window 10 dual core that I acquired not up to a year & half though and I seldomly use it. Recently the battery just stop charging,which now make me to rely on direct current. Please has anyone got the same problem lately and how can I fix this on my own? Thanks.

try another battery if the problem persist you also check another battery .-

Hello

Three things are most likely the cause;

1. The screen
The screen led lights might have reached their end of life. Sadly, you will have to change the screen if that's the case.

2. IC on board.
If an IC (display IC or associated ICs) isn't delivering enough voltage to the display inverter, the leds won't light up. Hence the IC is replaced or there's a work around.
Although, with a "work around", you may not be able to regulate the display brightness.
Well, it's cheaper though

3. The display inverter.
If you're using a much older PC, the display inverter is most likely separate from the screen. If it's bad, the display won't be lit up. You'll need to replace it.

However, with recent PCs, The inverter is embedded on the panel attached to the screen. There usually some trick applied to that section of the panel to "wake" the said inverter.
Ofcourse if that doesn't work you replace the screen.

Take it to an engineer for servicing, the fan vent is block with dust and thermal paste dried up on processor.

If problem persist after this then fault might be thermal sensor error.

Now, CMOS battery can actually make your bp rise to high heavens.

The blink codes you told us about would have suggested a RAM issue if the only the capslock blinked. -no harm in checking the RAM though

However accompanied by another key like numlock, and a speeding fan, it starts getting complicated.

So, check another CMOS battery. That's about the only thing you can do to get your PC back.

Let's not also forget the good old "discharge" -Remove battery +charger, hold power button for 10 sec to 15 sec, plug and power again

If any of the above personal efforts prove abortive, then you'll have to see a technician.

Hello, how do I revive a dead internal hard drive?

Hello everyone, Pls my laptop HP 620 which runs on win 10 pro reads activated but says licence will expire soon. infact says it will expire by 29th july 2019. Did some research and was told to go to service.msc - stop and disable Windows License Management Service which i have done. The second thing dat i was instructed to do is still under service.msc. I am to stop and disable windows update service. But lo and behold I couldnt find windows update service on the list.
Pls who can help sort out the issue of licence and also how do i get window update service back and running?

So I finally took my xps 8500 for servicing and the guy told me nothing was wrong and did some cleaning for me, now problem is the computer freezes like every ten minutes after start up, only option is to hold power button till it shutdown
