No wonder power supply was interrupted at that same time.

Why would one rent an apartment or live closer to that pipeline?

The inferno will be much. Please bloggers always be specific with location and place of incident.

Some bloggers don't know how to use preposition of place.

"in", "at", "on"

I don't understand how someone will go build a house or rent one in that area.

Nonetheless, life first!
It's an area fully surrounded by pipelines.
Once you hear of a pipeline explosion in Lagos, it is surely there until proven otherwise

Thank Heavens the Ijegun/Ikotun youths are not like their counterparts from Gwer LGA in Benue state who foolishly carried their gallons to scoop FREE petrol just to impress one orange seller with the proceeds.
The Ijegun youths are more richer per say than those living in squallor!

Nigerians won all the advocacies this week.

Biodun Fatoyinbo - Stepped Down

Senator Abbo- Under investigation

Buhari Ruga- Suspended

This is how office of the citizen works. If we keep quiet, they will do nothing.
Let's act together as one people and we shall see the changes we want

Congratulations everyone!!
Atiku lost Election at the supreme court.

Nigeria lost to Madagascar 2-0.

Let Nigerians continue to mumu themselves , it is hightime we did what is needed .
I'm not an advocate of bulkanization but if that is the solution, let it be.

It all boils down to poverty!
Yes. Our government has made us all poor.
You open the borders and allow all kinds of Chinese products into the country.
Local manufacturing cannot compete with the prices
Industries close down, layoff workers.
Now nobody has work again.

Our government caused our poverty

Nigerian goverment and companies should take FIRE SAFETY and OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH and SAFETY SERIOUSLY not just by employing an HSE officer and wearing PPE but by having a regularly tested and improved safety management system (SMS).

Duly planned, implemented, monitored and evaluated SMS would have prevented this. In this particular business line prevention is better and waaay cheaper than cure

Sorry to all those affected by this. The loss will be huge

Don't even try to tell the communities doing these and more anything about it being backward.

They'll tell you they are the custodians of the customs of their forefathers and will not stop upholding the tradition ever and ever
