The news is not well reported. it happened around 4 a.m this morning at Ijegun near isheri-osun and ikotun NOT ijegun satellite in ojo LG. same scenario occured some years leaving many dead and severely burnt beyond recognition. The cause is pipeline leakage due to the nefarious acts of vandals.

The state governor is supposed to put in place a well furnished fire service station on that IJAGEMU - IKOTUN. This is the right time to plead with governor Sanwo to come to our rescue in IJAGEMU -IKOTUN. We need road and better water drainage system there. Na beg i dey beg o.

The name of that junction is fire junction oooo.... ijegun and not satellite town
Lol, most always confuse it with satellite town.
Btw, the real name is 5junction, the fire incident years back only make some to start calling it that, so don't be surprised if you hear 5junction from someone

This is how fake news spreads..... I just alled my uncle who lives in ijegun and he confirm to me that it's not any pipeline explosion.... It's a tanker that's trying to discharge product into a fuel station that fell. And no single life is lost. People should always find out details before rushing to post news

nah tanker burn not pipeline, why are you people spreading false news, I just left the scene at ijegun Cus I stay in Isheri oshun
1) Video: The general manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr Oluwafemi Oke-Osayantolu states that 2 people have died and over 30 cars have been burnt in a pipeline fire at Ijegun.

2) The Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command states that the fire at Ijegun, which was started as a result of the activities of vandals, had been localised.

Vandals came to the community in the middle of the night to siphon fuel from a pipeline. They were heavily armed and of course they came with their tanker.

Facidio and horllar007. Don't spread fake news. Here is the Lagos State Government's statement about the cause of the fire at Ijegun.
