My point is there are even local based players who might have done well for their clubs, but weren't picked.

It's not possible this guy did well in the pre-tournament preparations and he'll suddenly appear lost in the tournament.

So he was definitely picked on biased sentiments or nepotism.

You cannot say the 2nd highest goalscorer in a European league was picked on the basis of nepotism.

If you know a local player who is on fire right now, let's hear of him.

In addition, this fellas stands at 6 ft 7 inches, I would bet he's in the team for his aerial exploits, an option we really haven't had for quite a while .

South Africa is giving Egypt hell. I want the Southies to kick out Egypt. Egyptians don't come out to watch other teams play. They are not supportive of other AFCON teams.

They behave as if they were forced to host the AFCON.

**Editted**

Southies Don hammer Egypt. Egyptians are out, let them remain at home since they won't come out to watch the games. AFCON goes on.

Nigeria will face South Africa in the quarters.

I don’t know how you guys watch football. I wasn’t expecting Rohr to bring Onuachu in but can’t you guys see that Cameroon was on the offensive and very desperate with all the eagles defending. Onuachu was alone up front. Apart from Chukwueze’s pass to him, he didn’t get any good pass. The Eagles were defending and blasting the balls out of touch for throw ins or returning it back to the Cameroonians.

Even Chukwukeze and Musa were defending. This wasn’t the game to judge him.
oga onuachu scam us with his goal against Egypt in friendly...he won't last in national team...stop defending him...he should be drop after Afcon

You just spoke my mind. The guy wasn’t on the pitch for up to 5mins in all and all hell is being let loose on him. Tall players run like they’re slow, but they can be lethal. You can find out from Kanu.
guy how dare u compare kanu with onuachu kanu is intelligent and play with his feet this guy is off key walahi

When you have a player with Onuachu's talent, your wingers must be very good crossers and inswingers, Onuachu presents a good chance for super Eagles to start utilizing their corners and freekicks, which they are hitherto very clueless about.

Get 5 good crosses into the 18 yard box, Onuachu will get to it 3 times and possibly get a goal or two. That's what his stats say.
so if we don't cross and nod isn't useless to play him...its like telling guardiola to buy a player who can't fit his philosophy...
