Hi chester, please i recently got a Google pixel phone. Phone is quite good and I love it but the issue is the battery. Battery isn't so great. Can charge 3 to 4 times daily. Did some Google search and most people attributed the problem to the os version which is Android 9. Say it drains battery a lot. Mine is Android 9 as well. Thinking of downgrading it. Based on the fact that you once used this phone. Do you have any advice for me?

I'm on Android 9. And with the way I kill my phone (it doesn't rest.) I still get averagely 6-7 hours.

mine wasn't drawing like your own. I only charge once a day. But you can try something's tho. Inrooted my phone, and undervolt my CPU. But you can upgrade to Android Q it save battery the more. Now remove Facebook app. Remove Snapchat. Remove heavy social apps. Keep WhatsApp and a few. Remove some games.

Do a factory reset and your problem would be solved.

At 105k, this phone is a good deal. Best phone I ever used. Buttery smooth and fast. Already running on Android Q, mine. I wonder why people don't rush this phone like Samsung or iPhone.
