The dv4 comes with standard 4gb minimum RAM how ever we installed an additional 2 gb memory making 6gb in total. How ever its still expandable to upto 8gb maximum.Thank you.

That's the wrong thing to do. Opening the device to upgrade the RAM voids the warranty, making it ineligible for repairs by HP. Also there is now no way for the customer to be sure if the RAM modules in the laptop were what originally came with the laptop.
Unless you're shipping it with a 64-bit version of Windows, anything above 3GB RAM is wasted in Vista.

6GB RAM is overkill, anyway. Leave the 4GB RAM in the laptop, stop opening new laptops you plan to sell to customers as new. It's unethical.

I agree with T'pete. I think that replacement makes d laptop fairly used by classification. 6g should be a user-prompted decision not yours. Good idea but maybe not so good from a wholistic point of view.

please i am more interested but how much is it up for
