Gud day my honourable people of cartalk. ur broda needs ur advice on this i want 2 start car sales biz bt am confused about d following... 1.should i start outrightly,though i av no experince abt d biz jst sm knowledge i got online. 2.shud i start wit toks or 9ja used. 3.shud i work with some dealers by bringing buyers and getting commission which will addup 2 my capital and @ dsame time getting experience and knowledge of how d biz is done.bt my fear is this 4 dis option: wat of if dealers i will work with sells a lemon(u knw wat i mean) 2 d buyer i brought,i wud b held responsible and this can also spoil my reputation nd image when i eventually setup mine own in future. so my ppl i need ur help. princevih:YOU DO NOT START A BUSINESS YOU HAVE ZERO KNOWLEDGE IN AND ZERO EXPERIENCE. especially when it is a high risk/high capital one. What areas do you know about? Maybe we can brainstorm something else for you. 1 Like |

radautoworks:errh m... i have some knowledge about carparts ma! though its been 7yrs back so i dnt knw if its still d same or changes have occured. i was with my bro then for abt 2 -3yrs doing d biz bt after his demise i jst had 2 leave cus his wife took over everything and sold them all, so i jst had 2 leave 2 find my own way. i wud have started it elsewhere bt i had no capital then and its a bussines dat is capital intensive. tnks a bunch...awaiting ur kind response... |

princevih:Start by working with a dealer first. There is always a starting period. Selling of cars requires some skills too. |
