I worked part time for a private security firm owned by cousin.

These private security offices depend a lot on those tips as they are poorly renumerated and worse, rarely any room for promotion unless you're made a supervisor or made a security co-ordinator in charge of many locations or Head of Operations having oversight of all the guards in the company.

Thery are very dependent on those tips and with the natural tendency for some to cheat, leads to a lot of fights.

These tips are what many survive on and they save their salaries. Some make as much as 5,000 a day as tips. The smart ones save their salaries and use it to start a business.

Private security is a good stepping stone shouldn't be overlooked. If one does the work for religiously for 5 years, you can set up a business to sustain you
