Sex-Toy Shop Scandal: Nigerian Senator arraigned for brutally beating a nursing mother seen taking selfies in the courtroom.

Senator Abbo was arraigned in court today for battering a woman in a shop in Abuja. He pleaded not guilty.

Meanwhile, a Federal Capital Territory Magistrate Court granted bail to Senator Elisha Abbo in the sum of N5 Million and two sureties in like sum.

But Sahara Reporters shared a video of the Senator laughing and posing for selfies with people inside the courtroom.

The video has got Nigerians shocked and talking. Many feel he's not remorseful and find his action in court disgusting.

What do you expect? The reasonable judgement should be that he compensate the victim with an heavy amount. Something that he would feel through his bone marrow

If this man was arraigned for assault in ordinary South Africa, he would likely wear slippers to the court room or weep intermittently because he knows he's in a hot soup and can't bribe the judge. But here? How are we sure he hasn't already made withdrawal of thousands of dollars for onward delivery to the judge?

We Nigerians are not yet ready for a change. we deserve the leaders we get

The Nigerian judicial system is tolerating this joke! This is business as usual. If they had read his charges, take his pleas and sentence him, he won't be taking selfies in court. There's enough evidence to nail him, coupled with his confessional videos. This case shouldn't have needed an adjournment.

The Senator is innocent because according to Buhari the video is doctored just like in the case of Ganduje and Buhari has not watch the video.
So all APC supporters, why criticize this senator when you claim that Ganduje video is edited and doctored.

Now let me be Serious, Nigeria is a mess and until we access issues objectively without taking sides then this mess will continue.

The senator is guilty and should be prosecuted but nothing will happen because our politicians are bigger than the law and always have the money to hired SANs to defend them in Court.
