hottathanfire:This is an arial photograph from over 600,000m up in the air. Ie you travel upwards 600 kilometres. You can never see 1 light bulb from such height. Unless there are like 100,000 lightbulbs together, then you will notice it and think it is only 1 light bulb from such distance. |

Thanx for the enlightment that it's all about electricity and not public electricity as I thought b4...my take on not been accurate is that while gas flaring lit up our southern shores at night , same can be said of developed world that have substitute it with different method. I can only see light in west(mostly Nigeria),north n southern Africa. It means other African countries have been over exaggerated to be better than us. |

A bit of African geography would help people understand this topic. Most of North Africa and West Africa is made up of the Sahara Desert which is largely inhabited. Superimposing the 2 maps should give a true depiction of electricity situation in that part of the continent. The mountainous regions of East Africa should also be considered as they aren't heavily inhabited. When we see information, let's not be in a hurry to throw shades or blames, let's try to understand the reason of such. Thank you
