Okorocha has by his various actions, set Imo state backward by 8 years. Governor Ihedioha should take more time to set Imo back on track.

Painfully, Okorocha is the best Gov IMO has had since 1999. This Ihedioha will not achieve much, anything tangible. He failed for 12yrs he was in the House of Reps and as 4yrs as the dep speaker; he will fail again!

Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has announced his readiness to sign an Executive Order to bring into force the use of the Treasury Single Account by the State Government.

Ihedioha in Owerri, on Tuesday said the move became imperative following the discovery of over 250 accounts in various banks operated by the Rochas Okorocha led government.

Ihedioha said his discovery on assumption of office was that there were leakages in the revenue accruing to the state government.

He said this was largely due to numerous accounts being used for collection.

He said this accounted for why he decided to sanitise the state’s financial system.

The governor disclosed that he had sought the assistance of a former Director General of the Debt Management Office, Abraham Nwankwo, for a critical look at the financial system.

“It is not an insurmountable issue, we will block all loopholes for leakages and corruption.

“We discovered over 250 revenue accounts. So I will sign the Executive Order for the TSA to begin immediately”, he stressed.

Okorocha is not a bad leader but rather relied on his works speaking for him than paying social media agents which made him a prey for amalgamated media conspiracy which Ihedioha is trying to capitalize on but inside Imo State it is a different ball game. The ordinary people on the streets believe Okorocha worked and cannot be convinced otherwise while the political elite feel they were sidelined throughout his 8 years.

Can you comprehend at all? Ihedioha is just making useless noise. What he is simply saying is that he wants to introduce TSA at state level just like the federal govt is currently doing. That is commendable if he had just put it that way. why bring Okorochas name into this? In Nigeria today, i dont think there is one state that is using the TSA, which means each state has as many account as need be. This has nothing to do with okorocha as a person. From the look of things, Ihedioha may not achieve anything reasonable in the next four years.
