IVR/AVR means all those customer care bot talking when a customer care representative is not available. Like, the Mtn you are trying to call is not available, but you can send an sms bla...bla...bla. Don't transcribe them, rather you should wait until a customer rep picks the call to give reply to the customer or drop the call.

The inverted/incorrect speaker means you labelled the speakers incorrectly. Perhaps you labelled a speaker who was supposed to be a customer as a rep. I had automatic 1 rating 3 consecutive times for this mistake.
Mehn, I clicked on five different jobs and they were all automated machine all through and I'd to release them till I got to maximum number of release. I don't know if this would affect my rating or my account.

To get/extract audio from sites that have some form of audio embedded such as on our transcription site, first open the job an click on next statement once then you do CTRL+SHIFT+I on Chrome on PC to open Inspect elements, then click on F5 to refresh page then go to Media under Network to see what is happening. You should see one two or more audio files there. Right click on the largest one and open in new tab, it will either open in new tab or start downloading. Once done open the audio file with VLC or some other strong audio software because the file will not be in a recognizable format for the baby audio software.

For those of us that want to run the clips on Otter or some other AI software. Please, please and please, delete after its transcribed and do not share. Remember that you signed a confidentiality agreement and any leaks can be traced back to you. Interpol and SARS no be mate.
Thanks. I needed this. Will save it for later.

Please house, I need your help. For every job I click, I don't get a rep and customer conversation. I've clicked on more than six and all I get is the automated call like when we call MTN or other Network providers before it's transmitted to their customer care representative. Pls, how do I resolve this?
And all the jobs I get are a maximum of one minute with no Rep and Customer conversation.
I'm confused and tired, pls fam help me out.

As stated in the FAQ, listen to the audio clip and if a customer comes on later, transcribe every conversation with exception of the IVR/AVR

I do listen to it to the end and I haven't had a customer come into call. I don't know what might be the problem.
I'll delete the screenshot soon. There is no customer/rep conversation on that call and I got the same situation on every other calls.

First call transcript result as follows;

-Wrong use of capitalizations, ellipses, fillers, transcribed IVR/AVR, overall poor transcription.

Why do I always get calls of 1 minute. At what time did you do the job?
Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by JustSomeDude(m): 8:34am On Jul 10, 2019
Is there an issue with QA World? All the calls that appear on my list since yesterday's evening are 1 minute in duration and they are all IVR/AVR. No customer and representative. Is it just me or are you experiencing the same thing?

Very likely, yes. You can start by linking the card. It's a too stage procedure. You link the card then click on verify card. It should work. But don't know of the rates

That's the problem with other transcription companies that recruit globally - lack of jobs. QA still has the most jobs. Since I joined, I have never for once lacked a job and their rules are not as strict as others, well, at least the other one I tried. Scribie has rejected my work twice now and the folks speaking were even Ghanian so I could hear them well. When the corrections came in, I saw that they were wrong. It would have dented my self esteem had it not been that i've had nine 5's in my last ten jobs at QA. I'm still looking out for a better company as Rev dey do their own company like say na kingdom of heaven. What's Scribebay's payment like

Calm down. We have discussed this earlier that Visa cards work best and prepaid cards are even better. I could not withdraw to my GTB MC and Access Visa when I tried. I had to get the Prepaid card. The exchange rates for settlements is another thing

It's because of your rating on your last 10 jobs or because you just joined. If you have refreshed three times and can only see maximum of 2 audio minute jobs, then knock the above two out of the pack and na you go taya for long calls

Hello bro, is there a way I can do the linking of debit and credit card with my qa account in other to start work... maybe anytime the traffic is better(the traffic is bad and the price is 2 to 4 times the previous fare) I will go to the nearest UBA to get the africard like you said.
I have created the PayPal account remaining to link it with my account but I have not gotten the African card, I have progressed to the stage where I will link my account to my qa profile... so you can see the issue is the linking stuff

Scribesbay is more on writing, not really transcription.

Have you tried Transcribeme?

Alot of these other names are just too strict, sometimes i feel they are rejecting jobs on purpose.

Linking of card shouldn't stop you from working in QA.
All you need is the email address you used in creating PayPal. Besides you need to work before thinking of our to withdraw earning.

I agree with you on rejecting jobs on purpose. That is why I really cherish Qaworld for being lenient.
