Rohr has his good sides. But he is not a good match reader.. He needs better assistants. It's gonna be hard to say he should go.. You don't change what is working.. He has given us results so far, when it mattered most.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 10:52pm On Jul 10, 2019
I must commend Rohr for sticking to Awaziem at RB. Collins' return was meant to move Aina to RB but Awaziem had already grown into the role and provides a strong and diehard physical presence on that right.
He has really made that RB slot his and it's really unfortunate for Aina because as talented as he is in his natural role, he just has to play second fiddle to Awaziem and Collins now.

Rohr chose Team Chemistry at the back over Individual ability. Well done Rohr.

Nigeria have better talent with a clueless gaffer. Onyekuru should have come in....offensively Simon is at best average.

Rohr must still go!!

We did play well in few occasions. But more work on cohesiveness is still needed.
A lot of work. It really showed that we are behind in development in that aspect but the bravery was a good start.

The crosses are poor but Ighalo needs to move more to open up to receive the crosses. The one he was late for Chukwueze was criminal. However, Ighalo made up with his passionate hard work. Really gave his all to help the team and keep the South Africans uncomfortable.
You guys are expecting a lot from Ighalo....You have see his best. Be score tap ins.

Ighalo has only two things.....some skills and power, full stop.

I am brutally honest....I was one of the people that rooted for Ighalo when most people here think he was trash....same with Iwobi and Mikel(both are from my state) but Iwobi cant give more than what he has given. Mikel is goodbye.

But Rohr must go.

Dude, check my previous post, I said Nigeria will win the tournament bearing a f-up from Akpeyi, right after the 1st game. Reason I said this was because of the level of competition they will be playing in the tournament, bros African football is now trash, super boring and apart from nationalistic instincts or just for curiosity nobody will be watching them case in point empty seats in Egypt. This is because African teams are playing trash and it is the fault of the fans and the football federations in Africa. In such a case where every team is subpar or just above average, a coach like Rohr can use a talented team of players that Nigeria has and squeeze out a win after seating and watching the other team's videos for several days.

If you are satisfied with squeaking out 1 goal differential wins with other trash African teams and be local continental champions hen Rohr is your man, just don't expect to impress on the global stage.
Please can you name one coach that's better and within our reach.

Nobody is a prophet of doom or crybaby, we all want the team to win. Most of us here cried and pleaded for Chukwueze to start ahead of Simon, now we all see the rewards.

Everyone here is for victory. We just want the gaffer to use the right pegs at the right time like he did today.

Great game.
speak for yourself o, one dude even said he wants us to loose so Rhor can quickly go

It's really gonna be hard to say he should go. But he should only stay if he gets better tactical assistants especially in the attacking aspects of the game as he is already well versed in the defensive aspects.

If Rohr must play Musa, he needs to tell Musa to rely more on his run with balls and less on passing. I can see why he chose to dash past the Ireland keeper instead of passing.

Musa needs to make runs towards goal and use his shooting power.

Watching Rohr barking at the sidelines showed he is a man that listens. That was what Odegbami asked for, even though I do not feel it is that important, Rohr was able to listen and adapt.

I hope our indigenous talented coaches like Siasia, Amunike and Oliseh can learn some humility from Rohr.

Person wey dey run without direction, na football be that??.
Musa should please try apply some senses into his style, by now he should have been a deadly player like mane.
Musa,IMO has gone pass the stage where he can be taught new things...his pace will be gone in a few years... and playing in Saudi Arabia won't help much...
We may just have to continue managing him like that..

Which talent? Musa or ighalo?
Atleast we saw how he linked up well with Chukwueze. You should allow him play with the upcoming talents before you judge him. Atleast if he plays behind the trio of onyekuru, osimehn and chukwueze and doesn't perform then you can conclude
