Yet some people were asking why he started, some already insulted him and called him names. they even said he was a downgrade of Aina. The guy was solid all through!

tbaba1234:
Collins will find Tau in his pocket when he gets to the dressing room.

I am not trying to be a spoil sport but I am not sold on AKpeyi.

That Second goal...would a better GK have done better or was it jut down to defensive lapses?

I give it to Rohr today, he used SA gameplan against them, gave them the ball while we hit them via counter.

Though he took time to make his subs but he did well today.

Rohr tried. While SA concentrated on Ighalo which they did successfully, the wingers in Musa and Eze made life hell for them.

Musa needs one thing, BE SELFISH like he does at the WORLDCUP. face the goal post and attack. He's good at scoring, why always looking for Ighalo that got crowded out?

Overall, today was cool, I give it to Rohr. We would have won with at least 3 goals.

tbaba1234:
Where are all those telling us that SA was so good??

They were totally outsmarted today.

You're right

You see that ball possession doesn't tell the full tory of who was better.

Rohr just let them rigmarole in the MF and they were hoping to catch us on the counter but the reverse happened

There as no bite from their attack

Meanwhile, where's that Ghana boy bobogone or whatever the hell his moniker is? the one that was creating threads all over the sport section about how we are pretenders at the AFCON and his country are favorites?

Marjoribanks:

Please can you name one coach that's better and within our reach.

Nigeria obviously cannot tap from the well known coaches pool because of our history of top level management incompetency and corruption but we can scout for talented new, cheaper and hungry modern coaches that understand the game, Keshi was one of such, like I said earlier Rohr is a good coach, but his strength is in game planning, we need someone good in game planning, real time game reading and also on the fly adjustments and timely substitutions. I don't know soccer coaches so I can't give suggestions but those 2 things should be a major requirement for our next coach.

Which talent? Musa or ighalo?
Atleast we saw how he linked up well with Chukwueze. You should allow him play with the upcoming talents before you judge him. Atleast if he plays behind the trio of onyekuru, osimehn and chukwueze and doesn't perform then you can conclude

Who is talking about Musa and Ighalo...lol

Yes you're right

He will soon fizzle out although he would always remain a legend

I still ant to see Onyekuru in our next match at least for 5mins. I am not saying Musa didn't play well today ooo. Far from it he really made that full back look like a Vulcanizer named Moruuf.

But I hope we get to see Onyekuru's brilliance and se his contribution to the team

What is wrong on being Moruufu isnt it the same as murphy, take your time o.
