What kind of mediocrity is dis? Op please show us something else suitable for modern Nigeria
From what I understand it isn't about govt setting up business but aiding small businesses with conducive environment where they can be free from things like harassment and bad power supply.
If I have a small printing business, I could take it there and get constant and cheaper power supply. That'd the concept. I will also be free from thugs collecting levy. I could also partner with like minds taking good to Lagos for export and use one big truck to save more money. That's the whole idea.

Next visit was to Edo dynamics, where she makes "Edo-nigerian" local made shoes in male and female types
This is good, but this market is saturated they should try and go into the converse making, or anything that looks like trainers, that's where the real money is now.

even though there are bullet trains in advanced countries, some haven't done away with their old trains. They still use them. Advanced countries aren't all about technology all the time. We must start somewhere. All those machines u are seeing belong to smes entrepreneurs, not govt.

The poster made us believe it's a government project. If it's a private firm, it's understandable. But it's a no no for even an unserious government to procure such scrap and affiliate it with industry.

The building itself is worth more than the machineries. How many machinery did the op snap?

We are our own problem honestly. How do we praise a government with such abysmal display of mediocrity?

Edo production centre is a hub created by obaseki to produce and develop local based products. Obaseki adminstration will be setting another one in ekpoma.

Nice development, only if the same governments that establish it doesn’t kill it with tax and some other stupid policies, and patronized them as a way of encouragement, though I know with time embezzlement will step in

Many persons will not understand how greatly this will affect prices of goods in Edo state....

... I personally will be shopping from the metal dept and furnishing dept for my house.
It will be way way cheaper.
This centre has 24hrs electricity. It's going to be a proof of how the naira can appreciate in Nigeria should electricity be sustained.

Thank you at GO.... Edolites appreciate you.

I quoted you for reference purposes.

Please tell me the prices are outstandingly different from the wood works in town... Because I personally will be shopping from the centre in wood and metals dept when I am ready.

Your problem is that you don't know the age the world is at the moment.

We are far ahead of industrial age.

Majority of inventions now is a modification of existing ones. Building out dated machineries now is bull crap.

If you want to develop, you modern equipment or modify old ones to suit your purpose.

Africa is a mediocre continent.
