Good day,

pls i need information in a case like this.... where someone applied and got US visa on the grounds of going for a conference in US , but didnt go for it but instead when to give birth with the visa. After Visa expiration, tried renewing and applying twice 4/5 years ago but was denied visa, if such person gets ITA, will she be denied PR?

Thank Tops!

But what happens to the education that fell under 2006
..

The rule says the Personal History section should be filled since your 18th birthday or in the past 10 years. In your case, it doesn't matter really. You can add your 2006 education or you can start your history from 2009. If you're adding the 2006 education, bear in mind that you'd need to fill the gaps between 2006 and 2009.

That you have been denied visa is not a crime, and does not disqualify you from getting PPR.
The problem that earns you a ban is if you have denied ever being refused when you actually have been refused previously.
As long as there is no material misrepresentation of facts in your EE documents, you are good.

I think he was just trying to be helpful. You came across as a bit harsh. Ramj has been here long long before Topsmamen became active. There's nothing wrong with what he said.

Again! Topsmamen, does organization under history mean Professional organisations one belong to??
Or Organisations one worked in?

Yup! It means membership of professional bodies or associations. I guess that's what @Ramj was trying to point out but you already dragged him in the mud for trying to help.

I started writing this ‘’epistle’’ in the last days of February 2019 with a created profile and score of 450 (whic was almost a giving at that time) for a family of three, thinking our ITA was only few days away… little did I know that things would take a different turn in the coming days building up till this moment – 15th May 2019, (almost three months after) when we finally have our ITA (sorry, we did not even get the ITA that day too grin).

Finally PPR has landed and Im short of words. I would like to say a very big thank you to this very platform that was a guide in my process and to the selfless people in this family. Many thanks.
My timeline is below:Single applicant
ITA-Dec 1, 2018
AOR-Jan 26, 2019
Mep/Bil-March 14 2019
The long silence!
Ordered GCMS- June 1 (yet to receive it grin)
Mailed Ralph- June 11, 2019- Only criminality passed, security and eligibility not started. VO- Ottawa (Odwa grin)
Ghost update July 10, 2019(saw it when i logged in around 5am but no mail)
PPR- July 10, 2019 (10.37pm)

Im rushing cos im at work oo....
I used 100% gift deed from parents as POF, attached the affidavit, bank ref letter(not in CIC format), 6 months acc statement only. Work experience was NYSC, attached my statement of acc showing payment from my ppa (state ministry) and ref letter from the ministry which was stamped and signed by my supervisor only.
Im grateful and I believe that our hustle must pay off.

Stencil:
For Listening use this channel.
For Reading use this channel.
For Writing Task one Jay and Liz have gotten good reviews for this task. Please choose either one.
For Writing Task two

Do as many practice tests as you can in a day. They key is consistency. IELTS isn't difficult, practice enough that it becomes second nature. These youtube channels have done a great job in showing the past questions and answers. Just practice several times a day and remember to mimic exam conditions.
Eg:
Don't pause the video
Time yourself
Cellphones off
Use headphones if your testing center is going to provide one.
Etc..

I wish you all the best!
