Thank you so much dear... what about home ties and travel history cos I have none undecided

There’s little or nothing one can do about travel history. Travel history often comes up by CIC when purpose of visit isn’t clearly detailed in ur letter of explanation. So write a detailed letter of explanation pointing out good reasons for going for your course of study, how it relates to your previous and how it will be beneficial to you in the future.

As for hometimes, Jobs, parents, or properties in ur name can tackle dat. You can contact UKEAS or ICASNg to assist you.

Hi, getting accommodation in Dublin is not easy but then, different people have different experience. I will advise you to book a temporary hostel on booking.com for 1-2weeks. For some hostels, you won't have to pay any deposit to book a space while others may require a deposit of 5-10% of the actual amount. By doing that, you will have a place to stay for a while and search properly for a room/apartment of your choice.

Rents.ie , daft.ie and hosting power are the major sites for searching. Another option is discussing your challenge with people on ground. Someone may know someone who knows where there's vacancy. Information flows alot. This worked for me.

Cheers!!!!

Also, can you help me with the list of very important things to bring along when coming to ireland?

There's an app I used from the Google Playstore called PTE TUTORIALS, it was extremely helpful. It contains hundreds of timed mock exam past questions in the exact PTE format as well as their answers. I totally recommend it and it is completely free as well.

E2 PTE ACADEMIC's YouTube channel was also very helpful as well, there are tones of YouTube videos out there claiming to offer pte tutorials most of which are complete rubbish, but these offered such practical advise in their videos as well as tips, tricks and scoring information. All I used was the app I mentioned and the YouTube channel and I was able to get an overall score of 75, with perfect scores in writing and listening.

Would have scored higher notably in Speaking but the PTE center at UKEAS was small and got very loud when we all started the speaking section together, which was very distracting.

Yeah, I know. It can get distracting but upi just have to concentrate on your own. The time.also goes pretty fast so don't take too much time on each question.

Luckily, you'll get most of the things you need here e.g indomie, egusi, melon, garri, semo, dettol, etc. The only issue Is the relative high cost.

Please is there anyone here in Waterford Institute of Technology or aspiring to be there?

Good evening. I am applying to study at WIT this September. Did you do your Masters with Waterford and if yes, how was the experience? Can you also update me on things like accommodation and part time jobs in Waterford?

You ought to have gotten it by now. I have someone that submitted on 24th as well, she got her visa yesterday. It was stamped on 10th. Perhaps you should track via UPS.

May 21st here. Haven't gotten a response yet.

Note that VFS Lagos forwards the application to UPS. And most delays come from UPS forwarding the application to the embassy and also when it's to be dispatched by the embassy

Good day house thanks to everyone for the help,

Please I'm just about submitting my visa application to study at griffith college for September intake, i intend to make use of the hostel accommodation provided by the college.

Is it still possible for me to apply for the hostel accommodation and get one after I get a response to my visa application (this will most likely be in September), will that will be too late. Or should I proceed and apply for the accommodation now.

Please your advise is highly needed, thanks

If you are sure you've submitted the required documents, you should go ahead and apply, as it is likely they would grant the visa.

In the event that you apply, make payments and got refused, I think they would refund you. Just do not sign any lease agreement until your visa has been issued.

Oh! I see. So it's possible the delay is from UPS. Let's see how it goes this week then. Thanks!
