Take note of this. This guy would play in a big European team - Madrid or Barca, win the African best Player award and might be the second African player to win the world best award.

All this guy needs is a good manager. He cuts like Robben, runs like Ronaldo, dribbles purposefully like messi(no unnecessary show-off of skills and leg overs), has a keen eye for goal and above all, he enjoys playing football for football sake and humble. That's all the qualities you need in a world best material.

You have said everything...the boy is so determined, focus, energetic, I pray he never lose focus and get a better club

Playing for a bigger club, yes.Winning African footballer award, absolutely possible.World footballer of the year...I think you taking it too far.Even Eto at the top of his peak didn't come close
If you read in between the lines you will see that I wrote "might". No one ever believed Salah could win 3rd best footballer award with his not too impressive play but he did.

As per eto comparism. Eto was a great player no doubt. He was a born goal scorer who played with so many greats in his time. But was he exciting to watch? No, he wasn't. How many games did you watch simply because Eto was going to play? I never did. But I recall always running to a viewing centre just to glimpse Ronaldinho and zidane do their magic. You must be exciting to watch apart from scoring goals to win world best. Check the records. Zidane was very exciting to watch. Ronaldinho was extremely exciting to watch. Ronaldo of Brazil was a phenomenon. Messi is a beauty to behold. C. Ronaldo gives you goosebumps on the big stages. Let's not mention Maradona, Rivaldo, Pele etc. Even that one season wonder Kaka was so exciting to watch. Klose and Thierry Henry scored more goals than Eto. Kane is a prolific goal scorer. Aguero ditto. But being a world best entails much more. That's what chukwueze has if he builds on it. He is exciting to watch.

Lastly, you were wrong when you said Eto didn't come close to winning it. He won 3rd best or so the 2nd time Ronaldinho won the world best award. But he wasn't exciting enough to land the coveted prize.

He's very good. However, he finds it hard to pass the ball to free players after dribbling through and he takes certain shots that go way over the bar too many a time. With more polishing, he's gonna be a wonder to behold. Well deserved award.

You are wrong bro

Look at it this way, he sees three or four steps ahead of his colleagues whose ball sense is trying to catch up

He passes where he anticipates they should be but alas his brilliance is solitary in that team

Watch his season recap video on YouTube

In youth stages, yes. On senior level? No! It was worrying watching him play. He scored lucky goals and didn't produce any magic. Reason he was sold out.

Can you mention any match he won the man of the match award? No. Not a single one. Chukwueze won it on his 2nd appearance as a starter. He hasn't gotten up to 5 caps yet mind you.

Lastly, take note that this is just a piece of his brilliance. Take your time and go to YouTube and watch his highlights in club Jersey. You will know I was just not writing for likes. I was writing with facts. Iheanacho never had half of those highlights on the senior level. Chukwueze had a Field day dribbling Almighty Ramos in Madrid which we all know to be rock solid. He nutmegged Ramos on one occasion. Danced and take out Ramos on another occasion. Even Marcelo and Casimero weren't left out in the booty. Them collect. To cap it all, he gave a brilliant assist in that same match. Go watch him highlights my man.

We are blessed with good and young winger's. Chukwueze, Simon Moses, Onyekuru, Samuel kalu, musa. These players can terrorize any team in the world, even Algeria or Ivory coast can't withstand these group of assassins.

If you cage our main striker just like south African coach thought and plan, then you are inviting trouble to your team, because all passes will be directed to all these unrepentant assassins and you know your defenders are at their mercy.

You must be living in another planet if you have not heard about this wonder kid and the magic he has wrought against big teams like Madrid and co. He is one of the few players to have successfully dribbled pass Ramos(nutmegging him and shaking his legs with sleek moves) on more than one occasions. Go to YouTube and search for the lad.

By the way, he is not just being hyped for a one performance. Everyone who watched Cameroon game would honestly tell you we became dangerous attacking when Chukwueze was introduced in the 2nd half and it was upon his introduction that we scored the 2 goals margin. Cut the dude some slack. The white hype their own. You will be a fool if you don't hype yours.

You don't knw what you're saying at all!

Ighalo is a very good holding striker. In a tournament like AFCON, strength and ability to hold up play for your teammates is very important. That's why Diego Costa is still being missed in Chelsea. Morata is more gifted technically but some plays do not suit him. He's not a physical striker Nigeria needs.

Actually Ighalo lacks positioning, ball control and pace which is very important. Rather he's more interested in committing unnecessary fouls.
Though I think it's too late in the tournament to introduce Osimhen.... Maybe a 10mins cameo won't be bad

Nigeria coach would have used osimhen, henry against Madagascar, but he failed to do so.
