Depends on the amount of money you're investing. Fixed deposit can give you a higher rate than bond.

First of all bonds are not for small cash. Treasury bill is way better than fixed deposit.

Depends on your risk appetite I would advise as follows

1. If you wish to access the funds after a short period, go for money market fund else go for TBills or Government Bonds

2. If the money is just an excess that you don't mind stashing away for long, go for TBills and Government Bonds

For no reason should you invest in Fixed Deposits, shares, crypto or bitcoins or whatever names they call it outside those I listed in 1 and 2

If you want to be adventurous, invest in Farmcrowdy or ThriveAgric to get good return on investments but beware of natural disaster though.

Bond is for long term plan. Fixed deposits is short-term. It depends on your need. The interest paid on bonds is called Coupon. Coupons are paid every six months. Buying a bond that is above power value us too risky and usually not more than a year.
I recommended you buy bonds below N100 per unit due to good reasons based on my experience.
Minimum in investment amount for bonds in N1million
