Hi, I'm creating my wes profile, I'm supposed to input my start and finishing time of HND and ND , I hope putting it as 2 years each won't affect the evaluation as two or more
For instance 2013-2015
HND 2016-2018

Please seniors in the house.

ColexMT:
Good morning. Thanks for the good job here. This thread and the previous ones have been my source of information for this journey.

A silent reader here... I had to register to ask this question.

I am one month post AOR. I applied as single and I intend to add my fiancée to my application at some point before PPR. I know what that entails so I have it covered. My concern however is the fact that my fiancée had at a time misrepresented a work experience (she was at that time doing a 2nd degree part-time study and learning a craft) in her US visa application which was refused for lack of ties to her home country.

I know I have to mention her past visa refusals; so, considering that I have to include her activities in the past 10 years in her personal history which would contrast with the data on her US visa application, how best can we overcome this misrepresentation. We don't intend to continue with the misrepresentation.

Would wiriting an LOE admitting the mispresentation be deemed enough? I can't think of any other way, really. I am worried that the misrepresentation may be considered a ground to reject our PR application.

So here is my situation. I appreciate your feedback.

Thank you.

When filling out the application form. After ITA.

An LOE should suffice. As long as you admit and explain everything, you have nothing to worry about.

I am in IT but my ielts score wasn't great...LRWS 7.5, 7,7,6.5 . do I stand a chance...Current CRS 371

does the preferred province selected during profile creation play a major part in the EE process?

Hello FAM,
Quick question, can B.Tech and CIBN certification count as 2 certificate with WES Evaluation??

Ladywinterfell:

Only the PA should write CIMA (or any additional degree he/she choose)

This will give extra 33 points (to the PA)

If the husband is the PA (for example) and both of them get an additional degree (be it CIMA or BcS), they are only getting extra 1 point to the 33 points because additional certificate from a spouse only give 1 point on CRS calculate

So the question is: is 1 point really worth the stress, time and money?

Only the PA should sit for the exam

I would suggest the PA go for CIMA, it's easier if you can read. I'm writing one very soon and I have no prior knowledge in accounting

In addition, you can write the CIMA first, the certificate takes about 6-8 weeks to come out, use that period to prepare for IELTS

Good day house,
Pls I need a confirmation from our elders in the house.
We intend to invest in trasurery bill to continuously mature every 6 months before liquidation, then reinvest again. This is to maximize interest. Each investment will have a certificate for the 6months duration.
For POF, can we show more than one certificate of investment to proof that the money has always been available for more than 6 month?, since we could get ITA when a new investment is just 2months old?
Thanx in anticipation.

if it requires WAEC to send them results confirmation (ie a Nigerian degree) then there will likely be delays as WAEC takes 5-6 weeks...but WES doesn't delay. but you can use CES or ICES.

Thanks alot, I believe I have enough + in other determining areas such as degree, age also adding my wifes degree and IELTS results. Appr
Stencil:
6.5 is acceptable. People recommend aiming for at least a 7 to get into a higher band. The goal is to improve the overall score. If you are comfortable at 460 (a good CRS score btw) then dive into the pool.

Edit: Please make sure you simulated your score properly.

All the best smiley

same procedure. but CES and ICES will save you about 21-23k you'd use for O'level for WES as they (CES and ICES) require just scratch card to check themselves.

You don't have to tell him what it is intended for. "To whom it may concern" works perfectly.

Jenolyfavour:
Hello house, I have a big concern about how to get my reference letter. I work in a government parastatal, and to my family it is a very big deal, well to me too as far as am in Naija.
The problem is that my direct boss has issues with giving out reference letters but am supposed to get it from the HR right? But it has to pass through him, if we know how government work is.
The issues is he will make it a big deal and might want me to resign immediately even before getting the PR.
Please can I write "to whom it may concern" instead of writing to the immigration body.

please do you have an idea of how long it could take the 2 bodies to complete the evaluation?

In a situation where someone works in a Federal Government Agency that has Corporate(Head) office,

Regional/Zonal office and

Branch(State) offices respectively, and the staff is in the Branch/State office,

where is it advised to get REFERENCE LETTER from,Pls?

I know someone who works in a Federal Agency tasked with the nation's fiscal responsibility. He got his reference letter from his direct boss who has a right to the departmental letterhead. He's in Canada now.

As a matter of fact, IRCC says your reference letter should be issued and signed by your immediate supervisor in the organization's letter head as long as he is entitled to use the LETTERHEAD!

It depends on what degree you are evaluating. ICES does online evaluation and does not require WAEC wahala.

Please show the latest one until CIC request otherwise. I read a PPR script here where someone lamented how his oversabi of putting all previous TB certificates almost landed him in trouble as it left the VO confused and led to the delay of his application.

Hello Everyone,

I have been going through the NOC category in CIC to find the one that matches my current role.

I am currently a Senior Research Associate in Analytical Chemistry in a Pharmaceutical industry and I was wondering if anyone knows any closely related NOC.

The closest that I found was Chemist but I am not actually a Chemistry. I am a pharmaceutical Scientist.

Can someone comment on this?

Thanks,
