However, you will agree with me that such attitude can be detrimental in cases where radicality is needed, otherwise, you will likely be consumed. For instance a friend and an igbo brother helped a yoruba man who was good to him to secure loan in his name in order for the yoruba man to get contract.

It is good to be good, however, this same calmness, slowness to action has ruined this man's relationship because the person he used the money to work for was playing him like table tennis for almost a year until my igbo brother narrated everything to me... It was I who came with a different spirit and opened their eyes about the fraud. The Yoruba man had no idea he was being played, the relationship my igbo brother has with the owner of the money is destroyed because of this and the owner of the money has always been of great help to him. My igbo brother lost huge chances due to delay of this money.

So, you can see how acting slow some times can destroy a lot of things.

The igbos are quick to react, call them emotional... and you may be right too and that attitude also has its disadvantage. However, what the Yorubas always interpret as hate is, to me, "tough love". If it was hate, why have we not had series of historical ethnic clash between the two? It has always been a war of words and that is it.

The only place Igbos and Yorubas have difference is when it comes to issue of politics and that difference became so wide since Buhari/Tinubu came into the national stage of our politics due to their use of ethnic divides. Tinubu is still playing that tribal politics till today, even yesterday he said is Evans a herdsmen but what he didnt realize is that Evans never kidnapped Yoruba or Hausa. Nice reply, you gave a good narrative and both tribe can learn from eachother. I’ve always seen the Igbos as brothers and I have lot of Igbo friends that we grew up together back then in Ibadan. I don’t even know what is called division among us Caz they are all around my area.

Truly, we only have a dissenting opinion when it comes to politics but in reality we still tolerate one another but both of us are people with ego, and we don’t want correction even when we know we are going wrong, that ego keeps coming up.

If the Igbos and Yorubas were to be a country, we would have moved mountains coz all the product that this nation produced are majorly from the two tribes.

People making Nigeria proud in diaspora if quantified in terms of percentage are majorly Yorubas and Igbos, we may have a lot of differences but we sometimes are in competition with eachother which to me is healthy, but that completion would have favored us if Nigeria is practicing regional government or if we are in a separate country.

We just have to accept the fact that the fulanis are the same either Atiku or Buhari, they are just taking the southerners for a ride. I know people are starting to wake up to this reality and with time you will see results even from the Yoruba folks.

Maybe just one day which may be soon, we will fix this rubbish system of governance or we all go our separate ways for good.

What you need to know is that Yorubas are very divided across political and social lines.

However, when it comes to security of lives and property, take our it, Yorubas are silently supporting OBJ for exposing PMB's unholy "body language".
